    Thanks for the excellent video!
    One question though, at 13:30 you say "the device has to work harder during diastole than during systole", but the motor current is at its lowest during diastole so that might not be true.
    The reason for the change in motor current is the change in bloodflow that the device has to cope with. You see during diastole the bloodflow through the device is 3.2 l/min in your picture, and during systole its 4.3 l/min. Hence the difference in motor current because in systole the device has te deal with a greater amount of bloodflow and therefor needs more power/current/mA

    Do you believe the use of the Impella has a place in adult congenital heart disease patients? Have you ever used it in such cases? Οπως παντα, πολυ χρησιμο βιντεο!

      @@manosbrilakis what are the patients where you would use it, instead of balloon pump, ecmo or elvat or even nerve- stimulation ? Are there any indications that could be promissing ? Like aortic valve problems ? Or after every severe MYocard infarct .
