If you kill one of the pillars or important characters like genya, tanjiro or inosuke, you award your self 20 blood. If you kill a moon then you award your self 32 blood. If you kill Akaza, you award your self a stack of blood. If you kill doma, you award your self a stack and a half of blood and for killing kokushibo you can give your self 3 stacks. For killing Muzan just go ahead give 4-5 stacks . Reason why so much cus it takes a long time to reach the health amount of the upper moons so a lot of blood is needed to reach that much health. Like reaching just kokushibos health takes like 15 stacks so yeah...
