Here in southern Idaho the beet topper always put the knives down on the rear of the machine when topping. How come they don't in your videos. I have 15 years of harvesting in Idaho and have always seen the knives used behind the machine like it is the most important part of the topper.
When are agristudios going to come to southern Idaho? Harvest of beets here is at the same scale as in North Dakota there are large beet operations here at the same scale as depicted in this series it might also help lower the ego of these two brothers to see beet harvest in southern Idaho at the same scale as their operation I would be happy to provide names and locations here in southern Idaho where large scale beet harvest is underway we grow nearly as many beets tonnage wise on fades acres with clever river linked canal and deep well irragation not simply letting rain water do the job as they do in north dakota
I always have a laugh at the equipment operators and truck drivers that don't have head or hat lamps because they are godsends during a pre-trip inspection or any type of work. Reason I have a separate hat just for it.
A hearty thanks to the drivers for being courteous at the pilers. The ground crews appreciate it
LOVE THAT DADDY DAUGHTER MOMENT. WHAT SHE LEARNS FROM A DAD LIKE LEE WILL BE MUCH MORE VALUABLE THAN WHAT SHE GETS FROM SCHOOL.
The 8410 thumping down the rows topping beets is classic. I miss digging beets.
I drove for 3 years down in Moorhead, wild stuff

@@razzy_farms I’ll likely add them to a playlist that can be shared.
