Great video. While we as sighted people have a basic understanding of certain tools that disabled people use. We don't truly have a full grap of their functionality. Thank you for sharing.
Its so cool how such a simple tool can give blind people so much independence!! I knew that canes can help detect objects, but I never realized that they could be used to help you walk in a straight line. Thanks for sharing, I've learned so much from your videos!!
When she said she used the cane for identification, it’s obvious what she meant, but my genius self thought, for just a second “who the heck is taking white canes as proof of identification?”
I always tend to snap when someone asks me such *silly" questions. You're so amazing and patient when it comes to explaining. Thanks for representing our community so amazingly ❤
I live in America and use a cane for my depth perception The amount of people referencing my mobility aid as a weapon is hilarious. Also when it's folded up people mistake my cane as a nunchuck.
Ha ha yah I had someone literally go watch where your then a pause going stopped talking and I just said yah bout that and kept going because they ran into me
it’s so absurd how little knowledge people have on blindness and other disabilities that aren’t even rare or lesser known. i genuinely wonder how 99% of people online are able to function in daily life when questions like THESE are asked 😐 like if you’re not going to use common sense….. at least use google for goodness sake

Thank you again, Lucy. I have learned to appreciate my pink rollator.
You're amazing. I have learned a lot since I started following you.😊

Well some silly questions are warranted because they don’t exactly teach children this in schools
@@kuroo8484so true I’m partially sighted and have a cane a lot of people think that they’re only for fully blind people x
Loving the Kurt Geiger slides ❤
Yeah I can't hear what she's saying because her gorgeous bedazzled canes are distracting me 😍
And if your hubby is being annoying you can just gently tab him

Bwahaha! I had that happen to me right after I exited the bus. The guy started with that line, looked at my cane, and booked. 😂
