This type of racing is like any type of racing, it has different grades low budget and very high budget. i myself race speedway in a lower budget grade (but still not cheap) and is just awsome. Some of the top guys in top grades make a living off it.
Not sure the size of this track... I used to enjoy the races on a 1/4 mi. dirt track. Seemed they spent more time sliding around the ends... was awesome!
I'm 13 and in going to be running a Monte Carlo with a stock motor...probably only 100 HP because this is my first time racing dirt track cars....but I have raced go-karts,I know they are completely different...and tips
Street stocks are not low budget I had a GRT built street stock brand new build first ever brand new racecar I have ever had new everything coat 36 thousand to build this street stock class in the videoight cost 5 to 10 grand to build a car just depends how you do it. And if you want to run the street stock nationals at whynot speedway better have a 20 grand plus built street stock and a good driver to make A Main I made it to the A Main started tenth out of 32 cars that started and finished 12tg very tough race and very well built high end streetstocks as well
GM G-body cars specifically, there were tons built but they are getting less common can still be found on craigslist for $1000-2500 regularly though as of 2015
back in my day, a street stock was stock two barrel carb , cast iron intake manifold, and we could run headers. good for 300 hp.
I Would rather Watch Dirt Track Racing Anytime as to Watch Todays Nascar . Lots more fun once you get it in your Blood you cant get it Out .
What's wrong with today's nascar?

I could be wrong but I think most dirt tracks are usually 3/8 mile.

They've been using 78-87 gm cars for street stocks for almost 30 years now! They must be getting difficult to source
They manufacture bodies, so not so difficult.

That looks fun
Just amazing! I want to be there.
I love stock car racing
The super late model drivers that tour with a series for $5000-$50000 to win races do yes. Those cars also cost $50,000 or more to build though
that #28 car is sweet
Has anyone heard of badlands mother speedway
Aiden Magnuson It's motor and not mother -.-
What type of cars are those
pretty much most of them are Monte carlos
street stock
Where's the dirt going up in the air ???? 😑
you can wind up with a $1,000,000 dollars per year if you start with $2,000,000...
