Hope you enjoy this guide to Dundee and 20 of my favourite things to see & do in this great wee Scottish city :-) Places are not listed in any order of preference - just in the order I visited them on the day - they're all great! If you'd like a personal tour of Dundee, Edinburgh or Glasgow please get in touch through my website - www.adventuresinscotland.uk 🙂I'll be doing top twenty guides to all the Scottish cities over the next few months so please do subscribe for them. A huge thanks to every one of you who is subscribed - without your support I wouldn't be able to produce these videos. Best wishes, David

I am becoming more and more convinced that even if I were to live three lifetimes and be able to remember everywhere I visited, I would never be able to see all I want to of Scotland. But now I have a new place to me to visit on my next trip! Thanks for the great video, David. Take care!

Thanks so much Stephanie. I really love Dundee. It's my wife's home city and it was great to be back. It's so overlooked, but it really is starting to put its best foot forward and I'm excited to see it developing. It has its problems just like any city, but I'm really keen to help promote it and it really does make a grand day out with loads to see & do. Thanks so much for watching and take good care of yourself. Best wishes, David :-)

Loved this! Great to see Dundee in such rich colour and vitality. If you visited all these places in a day you deserve a medal!😀 Those cakes as well! Loved the Rep mention🙏 What a city. Beautifully captured. You really took us right into the heart of it. Night fall was lovely down at the V&A. So many places in this list I need to visit. Absolutely cracking video. Great work once again David.

Hi Romana & Ewan, thanks so much for your really kind words about the video - I always deeply appreciate it 🙂 Fiona was born in Dundee and I always really enjoy visiting. I did stay overnight which was great as it gave me much more time to relax and spend time in all the brilliant places. The city has its problems like any other, but it is wonderful to see the improvements being made every time we visit. Really glad to be able to give The Rep a wee shout out. Hope you’re both having a good week and really looking forward to the your next video - it always cheers me up. Thanks for watching & catch up soon, David 😊

To be honest, I thought that video was gonna look like other RUclipsrs who make vlogs about their travels but what I've found is a broadcast-quality in terms of editing & directing fit for national television.
    Impressive work 👏🏻

One of the best videos on Dundee I've seen. Missed the zoo (Camperdown Wildlife Park) and the observatory ay Balgay Hill, but hey - you only had a day! An unfairly derided city well worth a visit!

Thanks Arthur, really glad you enjoyed it. I really love Dundee and you're so right that it's underrated. I had hoped to include both the places you mention, but just ran out of time. I'll definitely be back soon to include them. Thanks so much for watching and your very kind words, it's hugely appreciated. All the best, David :-)

Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Dundee is a fabulous city and I had so much fun visiting & making it. I visited all the Scottish cities last year and, I must say, that my visit to Dundee really was the most enjoyable and really stood out. My wife was born in Dundee, so it has a real place in my affections. I'm very keen to promote Dundee, so please feel free to use the video in any way - it's exciting times for the city :-) Warmest best wishes, David

A bit of old with a bit of modern. Loved the amazing McManus gothic style
art gallery !! Beautiful architecture!. Botanic gardens were lovely.
My G G Grandfather was a minister in Dundee in 1800s , at one of the beautiful old churches. Well done David.

Thanks so much Maxine, very much appreciate you leaving a comment, I’m afraid this video has bombed which is a shame as I love Dundee, but never mind, I’ll persevere 🙂 That’s so interesting your G G Grandfather was a minister in Dundee. Have you found out much about him and his family- it’d be really interesting to know. My wife was born in Dundee and I really do have a great affection for the city and it was really lovely to be back. Thanks for all your kind words & support. Best wishes, David 🙂
