Thank you for posting this. I enjoy hearing them when I go out walking in the evening since I live close by the HS. They are fabulous this year! My grandson just finished a tour with Santa Clara Vanguard and marched with Bowie HS and now TX State. What talented musicians and amazing marching bands we have in central TX.
Central Texas is mindblowing for marching band quality. I'm so happy your grandson had the opportunity to tour with SCV. Lots of hard work and experiences that can be found in very few experiences for young people. The most similar thing I can find (available to almost everyone) is boot camp.
It starts with the school district administration. Leander ISD gives the arts the same attention that it does to athletics and academics. Develop well rounded students and give equal attention to interests of different students. Then it moves to the middle school programs. High school directors and middle school directors collaborate throughout the education process. Access to private teachers and community involvement are also huge benefits.
@@MichaelNaydeck Did you record Alice High School? It was our first year ever in 5A, we drove 6 hours up there, and no one ever records us since we are unknown, so if you have Alice I kindly ask if you can post us 🙏🏽 10th place in finals
yes please sir, we don't have many parents who went up to austin with us, and everyone was discouraged to record, so if you have a recording we'd really appreciate it
There are no restrictions on recording UIL contests. I don't record contests where there are restrictions. I am not affiliated with any band so "they" can use anything "they" can find. I did not see any band recording....just us chuckle head fans.
