I have friends who homeschooled all three of their children through 8th grade... One graduated as valedictorian of her high school class... She completed college (full scholarship) one year early, and just started a Masters program.
He is doing a fabulous job! 👏 & you did a great job getting him ready ❤

I hope he has a fabulous year! My son went to high school after homeschooling and he LOVES it and I couldn't be happier for him. He graduates in May and he's done great. I'm so excited to hear how it all goes as he continues his journey. Blessings!

Definitely an act of bravery, strength and trusting the foundation that was instilled in him. I’ve been an subscriber for a short time and what I’ve witness that you and your husband definitely equipped him to sustain himself in whatever endeavor he chooses. Keep your head up and more importantly your faith. God bless

Hey Lissa, I feel your momma heart. But we need to celebrate you, your husband and Cam's hard work. When you were listing all the accomplishments, I was applauding and in my head sing "Oh they did that"😀. For the inquiring mommas (me), when Cam finishes his first year of high school could you or him let us know how the transition from homeschool to high school went.

You are handling everything so graciously and beautifully. Hugs mama! You are amazing ❤️

Hi Lissa. I just found your channel. This video is the first and I am so happy I found your channel! Must have been God that sent me here. I loved every bit of this video! I also have a second grader. My daughter is very shy yet very outgoing at the same time yet she is a struggling reader. So that struggle makes her shyer. It seems that all homeschool moms who have multiple children group them and teach them all at the same level. I have never agreed with that. To each, their own and I'm glad it works for them. But IMO I just would not do that. I like how you teach your kids separately and on the level, they are on. It is just nice to meet a homeschooling mom who is different and I like that about you! You have a beautiful soul. I am like you in many things such as carrying other people's problems. I pray your son does well in high school and enjoys it! You seem like an amazing woman! Cant wait to watch lots of your videos!

It takes a lot of strength to show up for your family every day despite challenges. We experienced a very difficult season this Summer that burnt us all out. We have been recovering since late August and are just now getting back to our daily homeschool routine. My word right now is Grace. Hugs Mama ❤️

You have been sooo helpful. This whole thing is very intimidating for me. I'm just going to get over it because my baby boy needs what is best for him. The lazy teacher at the private school and public school just weren't doing even half of what was expected. My son loves to hear about God and he wants to read. I'm going to ask God to help me teach him. I just don't want him to be lonely or bored. He's the only child.

When God gives you clearance that is all the confirmation you need and that’s why everything went so smooth. Because that’s the way He did for me when I was hesitant on taking mine out of public school and He confirmed by sending them laptops and printers as well as two of my daughters graduating high school 6 months in advance these last two years so when God gives you the go ahead, obey!

My husband was just given a job in a town with a much better school system, and now I am going through the beginning phases of debating on sending my son to high school next year. This is such a huge decision and I am so glad that you were able to come to this one for yourself and your son. My son has mild Autism, so the choices are a little bit harder as there will be no honors or AP classes, and I am just not sure. I have been homeschooling him since kindergarten as well. I hope that I can make the right decision in this, as you have done. So happy that you still have your littles at home for the foreseeable future. Take very good care of yourself mama 💜

❤️❤️ new changes, a time for everything, a time to home educate our children and a time to send them out. I pray your son is a salt and light in his new school. You do what is best for your family, in the end we answer to God, not any social media, we need to be obedient to what the Lord commands. We do a disservice to our teens, if we constantly coddle them and shelter them. Our teens need opportunities to put into practice all the things we have taught them. Discipline, patience, love, kindness, goodness, self control.

I’m curious, would Cam have played on the football team and ran track if he was still homeschooled? It’s something I think about, as sports were a huge part of my personal life those years and scholarships for college.

God has a purpose and plan for our children because they belong to HIM, first. Therefore He knows what is best by shaping and molding them through their own experiences of life. He did that for us, too. I always tell my son that if/when the Lord is ready for him to go back to BM, we will follow His leadership and His plan. I’m so proud of you Lissa. Peace and blessings to you and your family.🥰
