hey Lando, i wanted to ask a question on how does your travel planning work?, idk know if you have ever been to alaska before but thats where im from and currently located, im a choreographer as well and is sponsored and ive been trying to get in touch with at least 1 of you guys to see if we can figure something out to try and fly some of you up here to teach and broaden the minds allstyle hip hop scene up here, the dance community isnt the best but its way stronger than what people think we actually have hear and we are always looking for more ways to improve our selfs soo i feel this would be a perfect oppurtinity for everyone, any sort of responce would be greatly appreciated. BTW this video concept and the dancing is genius and soo true!! very inspiring
Lando, you should write a book about everything you have expressed here and more. I wouldn't call it a dancer's bible, but more of a dancer's dictionary. Think about it, because I would definitely read it. More people need to know the knowledge you have to give.
This is what I love about some dancer. Even though most of the dancers in this vid are well-known choreographers, they haven't let go of their freestyling side to them. Some of them even have hip-hop dance foundations (housing, popping, whacking, etc.). I feel as if most dancers that pursue to improve and grow should first start by having basic knowledge of their style's foundation. Great job Lando and friends!
This was definitely refreshing , you guys need to post more videos like this. Just everyone loosing themselves, to something real groovy .. nice mellow house tracks. diggin.
This is what I Admire about dancing and all of you guys! I recognize most of you and I'm absolutely amazed at the Capacity, Creativity, and Originality that the Gentlemen's Club has to offer! God Bless ya'll and Keep Pushing Forward #GentleMen
TIGHT! Both the freestyles and the video concept and visuals! Something I really see a lot is people who dance to many many choreos, but says: "oh, I can't freestyle!". What you mean you can't freestyle? Everyone at dance clubs just go with the flow and move the way they want to. Just because you learned how to dance, now you are shy to show your moves? It is not about being the dopest, it is about doing your thing, no matter what people think. Anyway... I really like the whole idea of making this video, really nice work Lando!
Dj Bruno Songz - Brasil.
This is literally the best thing, and because it's just dancers doing what they love and the way they love to do it. So amazing! Love all you gentlemen!
Hi. You guys are awesome! We've been training on 'FEEL'styling for a few months now and you guys are the perfect example of how dancers should be confident enough to dance their hearts out with their own style. Inspiration.
Whenever I hear the word "freestyle", I get excited. I think about what music is playing, do I know the song, if not "I have to sync with it." I like to see others dance to a song, pay attention to the flow they're going with and the subtle beats they're hitting. I believe that how well a dancer syncs with music and expresses to it, shows their love for dance and how fun it is. Like you said, I think about "how" I will freestyle, when it comes to that I leave my trust to my musicality and arsenal of moves. "Dance with attitude is dance with personality, and that conveys the message." I just made that up, but that way of thinking helps me. Listen to what the song is about and interpret it in your own way, it's like hearing a story then living it the way you want, all through movement. For me, that's freestyle (and choreography). What I want you to know about me is that, I LOVE TO FREESTYLE! Anywhere, anytime, I would have my earphones on and dance, hit the beats, feel the bass, flow with the lyrics, you know it. Freestyling really is my only outlet of dance and tho' that makes me feel a bit "limited" as a dancer, I find joy in it and I settle for that. Hopefully you see this comment and read it, cause I want to show you a freestyle of mine, it'd be cool to get a feedback! :) PS. Don't mind the clothes (if you can), I didn't exactly plan on uploading it. That's not how I usually dress up. lol embarrassing. @Verteez Freestyle | @TreySongz - Heart Attack |
Thank you for touching up on the whole styles vs freestyle. That styles just help in increasing ones "vocabulary" that a mixture of styles and your own creative movement is what creates the "poems" that is your freestyle. Great mentality on how real freestyle is suppose to be like.
The information in the description box is always so helpful and inspirational. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with everyone who watches these videos.
First of all, everyone was RAW! Then my two favorites are in the video Lando and Twitch! Fangirl screams. The song is so dope and all of your dance skills are undeniable! Please, keep the videos coming. Love Love Love!
Couldn't have said it any better. Something I will take into consideration. I practice breaking, popping, locking so much that at times I feel like I'm just moving to something someone left behind for generations and at times I feel like a robot. Before I started taking all these other styles so serious I use to jist move, and just feel it. Not that I don't because when I'm with my humeys I do let go, but I guess what I'm trying to say is. . Let go a bit more.. just dance.
So clean love this I myself I'm a freestyle dancer. I love to dance its my own freedom away from it all. I just love to express who I Am. I absolutely love to be a dancer I'm never gonna stop dancing. I love to be inspired by dancers like you Lando, Twitch, Ian, Brian and several others out there. I will continue to support your pieces of dance Much respect and much love to you and the dancers. Hope to see you in person one day and maybe you could see my dance videos that I have on here as well!! I would love that very much! Much Love Jasmine Robinson aka Jazz
Thank you, so much. I love that all of you are not afraid to show us your moves outside of pre choreographed routines, and you're all rocking some seriously good freestyle, and even fashion :D
If this is your gentlemens club where can i sign up for a goldmembers card?!!! 😂 but on a serious note that was so stunning, you guys are great inspiration for the male dancer especially, where its still old fashioned to think "its gay" to dance. Beautifully shot, i love that song and the close ups of you all at the end was the sweetest touch. Well done-will be sharing and showing the boys of this city dance is certainly NOT gay!! Lol
HOT! Ok so this is why I tell all my friends to find a companion with rhythm, someone who truly knows what it means to ride a groove, with style until you are compelled to shout expletives! That was damn good!
Omg. I remember when I first saw the picture for this a lonnnnnnng time ago and I freaked at the dream team that was present. This is just being released?
well .. Agree with you Lando 100% and more ," Freestyle" nowadays is a product to battle and organize Contest.. But anw all of the dancers who dances in your Video re Usin (couse they KNOWS the tecnique of Poppin, Lockin, Waackin, House ecc in deep) the Tecnique of all style .Everybody, .... accordin to me all dancers should understand that to tell Our story by Our body in a" chore" we must to learn to talk in first .. Then some choregraphers re simply talker, others Re POETS ..but it s another story .. have a nice day
I Love the video and the thought process behind it. I am mainly a freestyle dancer so I Love that people get it ya know. And I hope you don't mind but I would definitely want to do a cover of my own gentleman's Club video. Greatly inspired. keep it up bro kudos
i don't mind it all yet i still do not understand the reason for people to covers. The concept of what i did was meant for the public to understand. If you feel to do something similar then by all means do to your hearts content. Just refrain from calling it the exact same thing. Respect and thank you for the kind words.
Lando Wilkins i get what you're sayin completely man. i just wanna give credit where its due ya know? but i def wontmake it the same just wanna show where the inspiration for the piece comes from. Btw i also appreciate the fact that you interact with the dance community and fans who reach out. :) def an inspiration bro
song title is updated in the credits portion of the description box. As well as enabling the like\dislike option for the audience. Enjoy.

much respect to you bro.
Terence's slide and dip at 3:00, and that floor work later in his freestyle... blehhhh so good. Nice ishh.
Ugh! The way Lando hits that little accent at 2:07 is so natural. Really reflecting the music through his movement.
Damn, some of the best Choreographers in one video!! Nice!
Omg Lando, congratulations is an excellent video! the moves, am in love, perfect! 👍😊✌
Everything about this video, description included, is just amazing. What a great way to end my night/morning.
The description was very nice and spot on, Lando. Many thanks from me.

Wow...description is very well crafted as well as the video itself. At the end of the day, dance is dance. "Dance first. Style second" Buddha Stretch.
TIGHT! Both the freestyles and the video concept and visuals!

Each piece is so smooth and easy going. I absolutely love this. It's nice to see dance like this, just so natural.
Lando, your words (and moves, of course!) are an inspiration. Thank you for this explanation of freestyling, it makes things clearer for me
This is literally the best thing, and because it's just dancers doing what they love and the way they love to do it. So amazing! Love all you gentlemen!

Slick. This is groove in its purest extract. Bravo!
Thank you for touching up on the whole styles vs freestyle. That styles just help in increasing ones "vocabulary" that a mixture of styles and your own creative movement is what creates the "poems" that is your freestyle. Great mentality on how real freestyle is suppose to be like.
This is awesome! Lando Wilkins they should call you a dance philosopher...inspiring words and work :)
