FAQ:
Q: Can you do a tutorial on X?
A: Probably! Just fill out the form right over here. For simple questions that don't require a video though, feel free to ask :)
Q: How did you learn how to edit with Kdenlive?
A: I started as a full-of-free-time-and-motivation 15-year-old. I just tried all of the effects, and spent a lot of time experimenting. I also watched tutorials on other softwares sometimes.
Q: What Kdenlive version are you using?
A: The lastest appimage at all times (might take me a week or so to switch sometimes), so it depends on the video. Right now it's 21.04. For most of my older videos, it's 18.12.
Q: What OS are you using?
A: I'm using Debian, on the unstable release. But I'm no Linux expert so I can't tell you much more.
Q: Can you share your project file?
A: No, sorry, I don't want to. I believe in learning by doing, and my goal here is to teach you, not to spoon feed you. These take max 20 minutes to do, and you'll learn way more about editing with Kdenlive by trying it by yourself. (although maybe if you paypal me 100€, we can have a talk :p)
Q: Do you have a 'social media' account?
A: Check out my channel page, everything is there!
While importing the keyframes from clipboard, in the map options, changing the "top left" to "center" will make it easier, because you won't have to add the offset. Also congrats on your new pc!
But in this case it didn't work, at least for me. I use version 21.08.3 and the Position Offset option doesn't appear, so I've tried other ways, including using map to center
I am a kdenlive newbie after years of basic Adobe Premiere editing. I am learning a lot from you.
Kdenlive and other open source Programs run smother on Linux. Plus your PC has more Power for the actual program instead of all the background activities in Windows.
And it is way easier to keep every Program up to date. Programs also start faster.
But like mentioned already: You know Linux so Windows will give you enough reasons to switch again.
windows >> linux
@@shivamkumarrai23 For what reason. To support MS with Money? Convenience?
@@xperience-evolution simple lol 😂. It's something which you never heard i.e. Application support
@@shivamkumarrai23 My Applications all have support and they are all and always up to date with one single click (including the OS).
@@xperience-evolution I am not talking about your application i am talking about majprity app support such as after effects, premiere pro, opentoonz, and a lot more such as games 😎😎
Awesome video as always. Believe it or not I used this concept / idea of yours motion tracking to make the moon go round the earth, on a project I am working on. Worked perfect. I look forward to your next project.
There is no point for us to give your reasons to switch back to linux, windows will do it very well by itself ;)
I just knew this program 1 week ago, and I learned so much about it and it is amazing. Your tuts are amazing! Thank you so much and keep going
Hey Arkengheist , thank you so much for your videos , your all videos help me a lot as I've recently switched from filmora to kdenlive , I love your videos keep going bud.
Finally tried this out. This is Super cool. And your tutorials are just great. Thanks for sharing them. Love.
Your channel has the best kdenlive content, thanks a lot. 👏🏼
I can tell you Kdenlive seems to crash far more often in windows. I've always considered using Linux because when I watched your videos you seem to have such a smoother and stable experience in Linux than I did in windows on the same version of Kdenlive. But you will be a good test since you've used the linux version primarily before
Super cool feature and wonderful explanation. Thanks! This helped me make a vid using this technique and I love it.
OMG, I have been looking for this method for so long. Thank you so much. (Already a subscriber)
This is the tutorial ive been looking for. Big Mcthankies.
So cool, I didn't even know this feature exists, haha
Hi, I'm glad you're back, I've always rooted for you for the work you do here. I'm glad things are working out for you. I wanted to ask you a question... Which version of Kdenlive did you use to make Locked-on Stabilization?
I also use under windows but had to go back to version 21.08.3 because 21.12.0 only brought issues. I ask why the Position Offset option doesn't appear for me and I couldn't do it without this option, none of my attempts worked.
Thank you always for your teachings!
Find a way to get the Locked-on Stabilization Effect in version 21.08.3 that when importing clipboard keyframes doesn't appear the option to manually adjust the offset position.
Following what was taught in the tutorial, but the option that must be chosen is Offset Position and not Inverted Position, it will be easier to adjust the positioning... the rest is the same as the presented tutorial.
At least for me, it was the only way to get the effect.
I have the impression that the option to manually adjust the offset position is only available in Kdenlive's nightly builds, but I can't confirm it
Very, very useful. Thank you!
Thank you
Thank you, this works perfectly! 👍
thank you so much for the content
Hi, my suggestion is you create a Telegram group to join all your subscribers.
Thank you!!
nice totorial, i try with kdenlive 21.08.3 but motian tracker not work like a tutorial not show key frame and when checking the image that has been analyzed the box does not follow what I selected
You left Linux?
In transform while importing keyframes I am seeing Data to Import : Rectangle and not data. Any Idea on that
Dommage que tu sois plus sur Linux 😞
Would be great if you could mention the Version of Kdenlive at the beginning of every Video.
New DaSiam tracker seems more acurate
