Oh ! Johnny I was deeply touched for your vlog today . It was incredible how the Ukrainian valued and support their soldiers. Heroyam Slava. From Australia Oblasts. Hat 🎩 off to the soldiers of 🇺🇦 Ukraine
One of your most important & remarkable videos, Johnny. Inspirational & heartbreaking in equal measure. I hope you never have to delete content like this: people in the future must watch & learn too.
Glad you were able to film this tour and bring it to the masses Johnny. Terribly somber experience walking through that resting place of Ukraine’s heroes, but even more important! Thank you for sharing/showing the humanity here. Slava Ukraini 💙🔱💛❕
Thank you for showing us this. Since I first watched the Paralympics I realised that some people are really superhuman, not just because they have physically overcome difficulties, but also developed mental strengths that are unbelievable. I will definitely be supporting Superhumans - as soon as they put an English language version up on their site so that I can donate!. 😍 🇺🇦
@JohnnyFD incredible bravery & strength of the Ukrainian people giving the heroes a normal life as much as possible 🇺🇦💪💪 Thank you for highlighting the awesome work the team does for the nation.👍
The ending had me crying too! I have thick skin over the years. I've seen a lot. I've lost a lot of people in my life due to war. I've seen men take their last breath in front of me. I felt all that pain again by watching this ending. It hurts...... Thank you for sharing what most would try to keep from the public because of privacy but it must be seen and felt for others to understand.
Johnny FD Thank you so much for your time and showing us this video 👍 The Suoerhunan rehabilitation Centre looks amazing and absolutely fantastic with the Hydro pool as well 👏 👏 Every person recovering in there are all Super humans and Hero's to us all,. 🎩 off to all of them ❤ They are all heroes and are so brave 🙏 🇺🇦 Thank-you Guys and Girls For keeping us all safe, I wish you all the best recovery ❤️ It's amazing what you have all done and been through fighting for your rights and Country in this horrible war. First and foremost, sincerely I thank you; each soldier there who has lost a part of themselves and survived, and to Superhumans for everything you and your supporters do for these amazing soldiers and civilians too. Вічна пам'ять загиблим Героям України.Thank you so very much, Olga. My Ukrainian father was an incredibly active WWII amputee for almost six decades after losing his leg; when he was 25 years old. He would have loved to have seen everything you have accomplished there, I know that for sure. In his day there was not this, nor the understanding of veterans mental health that we have nowadays. Artificial legs/limbs were nothing like they are now. Dad would have loved to have the new better legs that are available now, most importantly, the mental health care. This means so much. Thank you also, Johnny, for showing us all of this. It is very painful to see and know about all of the lives lost, because of russia, but it is necessary otherwise how would any of us know how much we truly do need to help our beloved Ukraine! It would be akin to looking away from the bad things and never knowing they exist. We're never going to do that. Seeing the Heroes of Ukraine who didn't survive, being laid to rest, just makes me want all the more to see russia pay (non-financially) for stealing innocent lives. Right now, if my dad were here, he wouldn't be in the UK, he'd be over there back at home in Ukraine, by your side. My amputee Dad used to say, "enemy didn't get me, I still here". I pray for your veterans' strength of spirit to be as positive as his, Ukraine. 💙✌💛
Thank you for this video, one of most interesting ones for this year!. The young girl with her leg looked so pretty and her attitude just truly inspiring. I wish share this video to my former medical university, where there are physioterapy undergrads! You all are doing amazing work on showing current Ukraine, much better content than mainstream media. The last one was heartbreaking, I feel you all are going through so much...😢❤ Thank you, Orest and the others in team❤
These people are so incredibly inspiring. I pray that each and every one of them find a normal and fulfilling life after all the immense pain and suffering from those terrible wounds. Thank you for the insight, Johnny!
Thank you for the wonderful video. The Superhuman Center is inspiring, full of positivity and hope. And the military cemetary is poignant and sobering but absolutely important for all to see.
Incredibly inspiring video. Thank you Johnny for finding such stories that I rarely see on other channels. After the war, there will be a lack of population in Ukraine. Therefore, it is a big deal to rehabilitate as many injured people as possible.
Thank you Johnny. I believe that empty field was an "eternal flame" for WWII soldiers, up that middle path. Is that still there? Poignant. My dad is buried probably 200 meters from where you finished the segment, on the other side of the wall.
@3:17😂 Would say "nosebleed" but don't know if anyone outside of Jpn would get it... Awesome that you shine the spotlight on this growing demographic - created by tragedy, but thriving with dignity. The ex-soldier in the mini-skirt is so pretty yet awesomely bad*ss. Love how you did this in a constructive way which respects these heroes and uplifts the viewer. I don't have the funds to be a high roller investor in this great company, but I can donate. The end was a sober and real. 100% agree with what you said here. I personally believe this is why we must all rally to support Ukraine more than ever. Proud of you JohnnyFD. 🌻🇯🇵💛💙🇺🇦🌻
@JohnnyFD thank you man for this video. People in the West must see this, and understand what the highest price Ukrainians are paying to protect their country, and essentially protect the free world from the ruzzian Nazis. The cemetery piece got me as emotional as it did you…. Glory to the Heroes!
That's so amazingly cool. We have no place here in the U.S that's doing prosthetics like that. Ukraine is making Avengers. So awesome inspiration to us all!!!! Slava Ukraini
Great video Johnny keep up the good work fight the good fight! Very emotional video! I can’t believe that girl fought on the front lines at only the age of 18 and now she’s 20. And lost her leg but at least she’s able to walk again with the Prosthetic.
I think it's awesome that IT organizations are involved in sponsoring the Super Human Center. The IT industry is a perfect fit for those that have lost limbs as they can perform the work without worry about physical impairment.
My sister sustained a spinal cord injury and I consider her ‘superhuman’ every day. I spent a great deal of time supporting her through her rehab at a well-known and highly regarded facility… BUT this facility in Ukraine is mind blowing!!! the support that is given to the Community having full lives with a SCI, TBI and limb loss is incredible. I think if she saw “Superhuman” on the outside of the building it would’ve drawn her in, instead of her feeling anxiety about what am I getting into for six months of my life, in what looked like a sterile hospital facility, uours does not, it has life, it has future and laughter. I applaud the Ukrainians fully embracing the individual not the disability. Johnny, thank you for providing this amazing video. Hopefully it’s seen by many and makes a difference in many peoples lives. 🇺🇦🫶🏼🇺🇸
I'm tearing up seeing all the fresh graves of these courageous defenders -- it is truly heartbreaking and tragic. We must increase support to Ukraine faster to enable these brave defenders to win quickly and avoid more bloodshed. This is a genocidal war that Russians started -- if Russians left Ukraine today, the war would end tonight. Russians are genocidal terrorists and war criminals; they must all leave Ukraine. Slava Ukraini Heroyam Slava
What a brave girl! I've seen her in the past on RUclips... Didn't know untill now that she lost her leg. Now when I'm thinking about the brave soldiers of Ukraini... I will remember Rusya as the greatest hero of Ukraini! Stay strong Ukraini! Each day you win and gain you country back... Good things take time! Don't forget that!!! Slava Ukraini!!! 💙💛
The cemetary...Heart-wrenching. A ggod thing you've shown it. Not reporting casualties is understandable but shoping the tough reality is a sobering remonter far from the prévalent "war porn" so present on the Web with thir war.
They need to send the bill to russia. Actually send to politicians who still think how to start using the russian money that was confiscated when the war began.
At 16:37 min., this was sort of what i saw in central and western Ukraine, when there. Everyone spoke a mixture of Russ and Ukrainian. The young woman begins in Ukrainian, then realizes she is more comfortable in Russian and then just switches to Russian. For us, Westerners, if you speak Russian, it doesn't mean you are pro Russian, but in the fmr USSR, language politics are closely related with the politics of nation and national loyalty. I'd like to see Ukrainians use Russian (everyone was using it before the war in central and esp. eastern Ukraine speaking Russian w 10-30% Ukr. loan words) just as a medium of conversation rather than seeing language use as absolutely involving political loyalties. Unfortunately, the latter view is what its become now in Ukraine. I mean we should understand how many Ukrs. are mixed (by blood) w Poles, Georgians, Bulgars, Tatars, etc. To be Ukrainian, one just has to love freedom and independence for Ukraine and since it was voted for-- a Eurocentric political orientation. Its just funny how no one wants to speak Russian now, even though all the same people you knew in Ukr. before the invasion were speaking it to you before. We can still love Ukr just as much, be against the side of Putler and speak Russian imo. But of course, i'm a foreigner and i could be dead wrong. It's just hard to navigate all the politics or who you might accidentally offend by speaking Russ. I didn't have the chance to learn or study Ukrainian. Language in Europe is seen as non political. In Belgium and Luxembourg, they speak French but support their own country/ies first and foremost. Same with the Irish (while speakingl English). Language is just a tool for communication for us fr the West.
Johnny, pls, stop saying "so quickly, since the war"! War has been going on for 9+ years, it's almost 2 years since the main invasion! Thank u for this video and for what u do for soldiers!
One of your most heart wrenching videos. The woman with the prosthetic leg is very brave and has the most beautiful smile.
