You are so on point! Love this review! I also did not like Nesta at all in the first 4 books, but girl, after the 5th book Nesta is my favorite female character in the series! Not everyone will agree, but for me her depth in that book is awesome. Can't wait to hear what you think! Also, I agree that I don't hate Tamlin. Your whole review on him is exactly what I think, and I hope he gets his own redemption plot in the next book that is released!
I read this book so fast it’s all a blur to me now. You’re making me want to read the first three again! Also, I liked Mor from the beginning, even though she’s flawed just like all the characters in this series.
I CANT BELIEVE I WATCH ALL UR SHORTS N NEVER KNEW ABT UR VIDS! YOU HAVE SUCH A NICE SOOTHING VOICE! I HAVE A LOT OF CATCHING UP TO DO❤- ALL CAPS DUE TO VISION ISSUES:) IM NOT YELLING❤
OMG!! That book was so good! The Suriel absolutely killed me too. I was a hot mess by the end of that book. Rhys and Cass things that went down, just a mess.
@@sararoberts3892 this was my first time using audible and I was pleasantly surprised by the voices and how they told the story. It was like watching a movie. I couldn’t stop listening lol. Everywhere I went I was playing it 😂

Ugh! I just finished this book last week, and I was going to wait to finish the published series, but NOW I have to keep going so I don't miss out on these reviews! 😅 I mirror many of your thoughts, and others require more discussion, lol. Soooo many thoughts to what you've said here, and absolutely not enough time😄 Keep the reviews coming!
Thanks to you I started this series. But I am listening to the "graphic audio" version on Spotify. It's like I'm listening to a movie! It's a full cast, too so each character has their own narrator. Finished book 1 in a day and halfway thru book 2 now 😂. Had to pop in my ear buds during the love scenes lmao
Totally agree. The second book I was so bored the first few chapters. I decided to read another book instead but my best friend told me I had to continue, so I did and was glad I did. But Wings and Ruin is definitely my favorite. I cried when the suriel died, and I was like what is wrong with me!? 😢 I just finished Frost and Starlight today.
Oh thank you! I just finished it last week. I love Lucien too 🥰 I remember reading book two and saying is it bad I don’t particularly miss Tamlin but I really miss Lucien? Ha ha and I agree with you about Tamlin and hope he gets his redemption arc! All the deaths hit me hard too but the father arriving I was a mess 😭 but my dad passed 10 years ago and I miss him so much so that’s probably why! I did laugh when you pronounced it Riceand 😂 even though I butcher names in books all the time…it’s just my son’s name is Brodie Rhys and I can imagine you saying Brodie Rice ha ha Hermione was one of them for me!! Looking forward to your review on book 4 so I better get reading 📖
Nesta by the end of the series was my absolute favorite female character!! She’s amazing! You will understand by the end!! Ooooo and next you have to read Throne of Glass!! And Then And thennnnn, you have to start The Crescent City series! Girl Sarah J Maas brings all the worlds together! I want to see your face when you find out all the things!! 🤪😜🤪
Yes!! I also loved The Suriel RIP 😭 this book is definitely the best book of them all. I would love more book reviews from you! I agree with so many of your thoughts. I’ve recently finished the series 😊
Amren told Feyre she lied because together they were supposed to hold the cauldron and chant the prayer that would end the war-but the suriel told Feyre to tell amren the only thing that would end the war was on the second to last page of the book, which amren discovered was her own “unleashing” of herself by putting herself into the cauldron. I agree the way it was worded was odd. Amren kept it a secret bc she didn’t think the rest of them would agree to allow her to go through with it.
I love the fact you read. I'm a big reader. I'm going to find these treasures. If a book doesn't grab my attention in the first chapter, or two I say there's too many good books out there to waste my time on a crappy book
I cut watching this video short to avoid the spoilers, because you’re making me want to read this series-how did I not know about it, already? I appreciate this, and all of your other posts/videos, by the way-like so many others, you’re someone about my age, who reminds me so much of my child/young-adulthood, and makes me laugh often. (Thank you. 💛)
The 4th book is like an amuse bouche for book 5. Book 5 is so good, you get to understand Nesta more. After you’re done with this series, you should read Throne of Glass series. It’s really good too!
Sarah j maas is a great author. Definitely check out crescent city series after you finish acotar. Its got some small tie ins to the acotar characters.
I agree with you about book 2, i was so bored the first half that i put it aside for 6 months. Forced myself to get through it and did enjoy it by the end. 3rd book was definitely the best so far in my opinion.
I have only read the first two so far, and no I don’t mind spoilers. Now, I am really excited to read book 3. The way u reviewed it makes me want to pick it back up!
ACOWAR was my favourite in the series. Made me laugh and cry! It's also the one that made me actually like Feyre lol But I'm with you on the Suriel and the Bone Carver and his sister - those scenes gutted me. I'm also the person who likes the characters that everyone hates (Tamlin and Nesta 😂). I'm actually hoping in future books (since the series will be continued) that Elain turns out to be a villain. Because at least she'll be interesting with a personality lol Eris intrigues me. There has to be more to his story so I'm interested to see how that plays out. The 4th book is like a Christmas novella, and then the 5th book is Nesta's. Can't wait to hear what you have to say on that one because I have lots of thoughts on that one 😂
I like that you posted this review❤ branching out from music nostalgia and dancing 💃 😊 I read these books, too. But I fell asleep every 5 minutes. Never made it till the end of book 3.
I can't wait to dee your video after the next book. I thought putting the culdren would've required more too. I was like thats all. Hell, they could've been done rhat 😂😂😂
Ahhh! I had to turn off the volume real quick so i didnt hear any spoilers. I have no idea what the book is about but you spoke so pationately about it it'll be next on my reading list!
Omg Of Frost And Starlight is cute, kind of a comic catching up with everyone after the war. I burned through the first 4 and my homegirl stopped reading so I’m going to take my time and read and then go into some of SJM’ universe, I heard Azriel’s boo is in another story. Anyway I’m not a Tamilin fan at all but he did have redeeming moments. And I’m with ya, Fayrah’s dad coming in with the milk after being “gone/absent but present, had my face screwed up bout as much as Elaine killing Hybern (yeah aight!”) lol but overall love the lore so far. Guess I can keep up with you for book 5.
I have been watching you for a good while. I love your dancing. You're incredible! You make me laugh. It's good to see you talking. I get to know you a little bit more better but you're a beautiful person. It seems like inside but also outside with them. Big eyes and curly lashes. Please keep making videos talking more and dancing
Amren released herself. There are theories that she was almost like an Angel of death for the Gods, so she was immortal. When she released herself, she lost that, and now she came back as Fae (immortal but mortal). Feyre does have the power of all of the High Lords, plus Rhysand is the most powerful High Lord ever, he basically gave her his life (power) so she could fix the cauldron. This is similar to something that happens in her other series Throne of Glass (you HAVE to read it) where someone does something similar... I'll leave it at that 😂
You are awesome. I so relate to your content, I think we must be same generation. lol. Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston gen. lol 😂 K, I am happy to pick apart this book. I agree, the bone carver, and the sisters death was sad, and came as a shock. Especially at the end where she smiled as he laid her that compliment right before snapping her neck. And you’re right, I totally didn’t buy the dead beat dad coming in as the hero at the end of his life. It’s just a hard pill to swallow when his character exhibited totally different themes. However, you never know what a catalytic moment will be for everyone. Also, this whole thing about the caldron, isn’t that based in irish mythology as an artifact of magic? I think it’s so cool her incorporation of this thing. And Amren, is so bad ass. She is a creature from another world for sure. I guess I gotta look for other videos of yours because I cannot wait for you to talk about the last book where Nestas character gets more developed. I so identify with her stubborn ass. 😝
Im so glad to see someone else doesn’t like Nesta!!!! I literally eye rolled every scene she was in and I couldn’t read the others because of her. 10/10 for the trilogy though!!
Listen to the Fantasy Fangirls Podcast!! They do deep dives of the ACOTAR books and its fantastic 👌🏼 Answers all your questions and the questions you didn't even know you had!
This is currently one of my top series of all time. Read it for the first time in 2020 and have read it three more times since then. 😂 The Suriel wrecks me every time. (There’s a Suriel Tea Shop sweatshirt I’m going to get for the fall/winter.) I started Throne of Glass. Book 1 is meh but not awful. Book 2 is better and more enjoyable, but everyone tells me book 3 is where it gets to the amazingness. ACOSF is now my 2nd favorite after ACOMAF. I grew to love Nesta so much, and the struggle for her and the other two main ladies will resonate with a lot of women who have experienced awful things.
But the thing about the cauldron being put back together, for one you have Feyre who embodies the powers of all the high lords. Then you have Rhysand who is the most powerful high lord they have ever known. Anyway, love your content 😊
Yessss!!! I loved the middle to end of book 2, but book 3...gahhh sooo much emotions going on!! The Suriel dying had me sobbing so hard too, as well as the Bone Carver!! And while I felt horrible for Nesta, with her dad dying in front of her....but man...the very last book with Nesta, took me THREE months to finish, bc I really do NOT like her. Idc what she went through...she is a spoiled, entitled, selfish person. I know a lot of ppl love her story, but I did not.
You will end up adoring Nesta! She’s the most developed character out of all of them. And as everyone has their own traumas she has hers and pretends to be so cold and guarded and it’s just because she cares so much. She ends up being a bad bitch don’t you worry! The next book of the series comes out in 2025. What I want to see happen is Azriel and Gywn being mates. Also I hope Emerie and Morr are mates. Would love to see Tamlin find his mate too bc I loved his character and they kind of did him dirty by depicting that he was so horrible. I agree about Elain, that bitch is so boring but I bet she’ll end up being a badass. I want her to give Lucien a chance!
Nedta's story and character development was the best I've ever read. It felt so real to see how trauma can have a chokehold on someone and you fight against healing because you don't believe you deserve it. And Cassian...my goodness 😭😭😭 I too hope the next one will be Azrial and Gwyn.
I read the first 4 in like 2 wks. I've been stuck on the 5th book for over a month. I keep hoping I'll be able to get into it but I think I just hate Nesta so much, I can't enjoy any of it. 😫
Omg i thought i was the only one that didn't trust Mor at all. And then what Eris says about her threw me as well, but yes the way she treats Az i cannot forgive that.
If you haven't, you have to go back and listen to the graphic audio versions. The actors voices just bring a whole new level to it. I loved when Cassian and Az show up to save Feyre on the ice. Like BOOM. So good. Totally accurate description of the battle being like Avengers End Game. Way to describe it! Also when Ianthe dies. She is the devil. Beotch.
I assumed this would ve been about chicken wings, don t know why. Now i m curious bout the book. Love your videos, so i m here for it with or withoutwings anyways😊
I usually like spoilers (I know I’m an anomaly 😅), but wasn’t prepared to hear the Suriel died. 😢 But glad to hear it’s good! I am still in the beginning chapters of that book.
And when does things get better with Nesta? People say it all makes sense later or it will get better. It’s a struggle to like her. She’s so mean. I’m on chapter 17.
Haven’t read this series but devoured her Throne of Glass series years ago. My friends keep trying to get me to read this, but the ACOTAR was too slow for me.
I go through so many tissues every time I read this book! My thoughts on Nesta: I loathe her entirely. Even after reading Silver Flames I still don't like her. I'll leave it at that for now 😂 I like Mor, but I HATE how she has basically lead Azriel on for centuries. Even if she wasn't comfortable coming out, she could've been completely honest and just told him it would never happen. Since she "doesn't want to hurt him" she just sleeps with others to rub it in 🙄 Tamlin is a decent Male in my opinion. No one is perfect. I really want him to find his mate, but I want him to work on himself first. Oh, I also want a book on Eris. There's so much going on behind the scenes with him that my nosey self needs to know🤣 There's so much that happened in this book that it's hard to think of anything else, but glad you're enjoying the series!
I’ve been watching your dancing and music reels for such a long time… it’s the first time I hear you speaking for this long 😬 I don’t know how I feel about it 🤣🤣🤣
the three times I've cried THAT hard: Avengers Endgame, ACOWAR, Crescent City Book 1. THE SOBBING Honorable mention: ACOSF I wanted to dislike it bc Nesta do be a bish but it definitely made me cry near the end. (be patient, she still totally sucks for a long ass time) I love your takes on these characters, you definitely get it. when you get done with this series you'll love Crescent City
Loved that despite feyre and rhys bringing out all three scary characters, they still were out powered (?) by hybern! And gawd rhys dying was just ouch
I know this question is off topic but what kind of face regimen do you use? Your skin looks awesome. Like what brand if moisturizer do you use and what soap do you use to wash your face? Man, don't leave me hanging, i gotta know. Please thanks.👍❤️
😂😂😂 so funny, I felt similar with the dad Yes! The magic thing….its very inconsistent What was the seed in feyres hand before Rhysand came back? And was tamlin needed? Like he couldn’t have came back without him? I also have a soft spot for tamlin….poor guy got fucked over lol 😅. But he was an ass I guess 🤷🏻♀️
I don’t even know what you’re talking about but I love your videos so I’m here to “like” it anyway! 😊
Same!
💯 😂
Also she’s hot
Also she’s good looking

Yessss I need a redemption plot!!!
This is what I came to say too! I was hoping at the High Lord meeting that Tamlin would have redeemed himself then, but… too soon?
My thoughts exactly!!!
I have no idea what book you’re talking about but more reviews about anything PLEASE?? 🥺 you’re so funny! 😂

And Cassian...my goodness 😭😭😭
I too hope the next one will be Azrial and Gwyn.
I agree!! And Cassian is so perfect for her. It’s crazy the age gaps in all the relationships lmaoo
Ooooo my dear you are now in the SJM dimension. Throne of glass series still is my fave by her tho. It's still my roman empire 😅😂
Girl, you are going to LOVE Throne of Glass
I read the first 4 in like 2 wks. I've been stuck on the 5th book for over a month. I keep hoping I'll be able to get into it but I think I just hate Nesta so much, I can't enjoy any of it. 😫
I like you, I don’t know nothing about the book, but you still get the thumbs up!
You know that's good reads when you cry your heart out😢 I'll have to give these books a whirl!!!
but i did read every harry potter book when they came out, no regrets!
Never read this book. But enjoyed your info on the. Not really into girly romance books. But still enjoyed your info 📖❤
You’re amazing!
Omg i thought i was the only one that didn't trust Mor at all. And then what Eris says about her threw me as well, but yes the way she treats Az i cannot forgive that.
Book 2 I loved the start and finished. Hated the middle !
No, I hear you! I liked the Bone Carver a lot too!
I cried when the suriel died too. SJM is soooo good at writing scenes that evoke emotion.
Beotch.
Girl the scream I scrumpt at that ice scene!!! 😱🥵🥵
And yes bye Ianthe 👋🤣
Omg it's been so long since i have been in a good book okay got to get this ,
I assumed this would ve been about chicken wings, don t know why. Now i m curious bout the book. Love your videos, so i m here for it with or withoutwings anyways😊
Read Throne of Glass. It is absolutely amazing
But have you read Throne of Glass? I’d love your review too ❤
I usually like spoilers (I know I’m an anomaly 😅), but wasn’t prepared to hear the Suriel died.
Totally agree on the opinions of Tamlin and Elane...
I have that shirt from Target! 🎯
I agree with everything you said!!!
Aww I didnt know you were a fantasy reader as well. Yay.
I’ve been watching your dancing and music reels for such a long time… it’s the first time I hear you speaking for this long 😬 I don’t know how I feel about it 🤣🤣🤣
0:00-0:01: LHM, that shirt fit and those eye lashes. I never noticed. Respectfully of course.❤
Making up your own pronunciation for these names is so real! 🤣
the three times I've cried THAT hard: Avengers Endgame, ACOWAR, Crescent City Book 1. THE SOBBING
Honorable mention: ACOSF I wanted to dislike it bc Nesta do be a bish but it definitely made me cry near the end. (be patient, she still totally sucks for a long ass time)
I love your takes on these characters, you definitely get it.
when you get done with this series you'll love Crescent City
Loved that despite feyre and rhys bringing out all three scary characters, they still were out powered (?) by hybern! And gawd rhys dying was just ouch
Yes! Even with Bryaxis it barely made a dent! 😱
The short book is like the Christmas special
I know this question is off topic but what kind of face regimen do you use? Your skin looks awesome. Like what brand if moisturizer do you use and what soap do you use to wash your face? Man, don't leave me hanging, i gotta know. Please thanks.👍❤️
Such a great series!11
Oh my goodness, you are a book nerd too!!!
I've read them all. Amazing. The third one was the best.
😂😂😂 so funny, I felt similar with the dad
Yes! The magic thing….its very inconsistent
What was the seed in feyres hand before Rhysand came back? And was tamlin needed? Like he couldn’t have came back without him?
I also have a soft spot for tamlin….poor guy got fucked over lol 😅. But he was an ass I guess 🤷🏻♀️
