Thanks for your sophisticated analysis. Systems are not inherently good or bad. It depends on a multiplicity of factors.

Thanks a lot for that. I worked my way up to around 1650 to 1700 rating on Lichess by using a lot of Colle as white and Stafford Gambit as black. Then, as I was matched to stronger players I started getting a lot of these counter moves you describe, and losing. I was about to give up Colle and learn something else, when I came across your discussions. It's going to take some more study, but I feel like I have a new handle on it now.

I am a senior citizen, who started to learn to play chess, during Covid 19 lockdown, and I am looking forward to trying out this opening. What are the names of the two players, you mentioned at the start of the video?

I to have just retired, I like the colle, I to am trying to learn, this video is the only one that has explained in a short area. Bf5, great. Good luck learning. Its like trying to put the ocean in a thimble. The more you learn, the more you realize you dont know. Great game, wish I had started earlier

Excellent! I like the sophistication you bring to analysis. Too many refer to systems be good or bad. Dualistic superficiality. Thanks for avoiding this nonsense.

Thanks for the videos, they're great. Any chance you might do a series on the regular Colle, ie. if Black does NOT play one of the Anti-Colles?
