makoto is this point isnt very good using darkness and ligthning, he cant use wind at all, so earth,fire and water are the ones he is most likely to use in combat

What if the MC used his full mana not his mana reserved on one of his rings in this fight. that attack probably pierced through the core.

Imagine the rings similar to capacitors or a resistor that stores his mana instead of heat, it limits his power otherwise he’d appear like rimuru (that time I got reincarnated as a slime) did when he exerting his magic power and even people who couldn’t sense magic power would be able to tell he’s super strong or in this case super dangerous. So yeah I’m pretty sure if he was to use 100% plus all his rings he would go through the core and out the other side

Now that I think about it. The last episode of season 1 did a mistake on Makoto's aura. His aura is supposed to be a darkish blue, not the fiery red we see in the episode because of his biggest affinity for water and the fact he has no affinity at all for healing.

A small thing that bothers me is at the beginning of the big fight the lady chops his fingers off but the cut is directly in the middle of where the rings are soooo they should’ve blown up. Furthermore, the rings that fell on the ground just kinda disappear.
