Thank you so much for this video! I just did my first ever rolled hem, with wooly nylon I’ve had for years and never used, on my MK480 I’ve owned for nearly a year and used only a handful of times for basic seam edge finishing! I cannot wait for more videos, I hope you make heaps! Especially on how to use all the accessories in the bonus pack! Maintenance, everything, anything, so I can really know my machine and put it to great creative and practical use. Thanks again!
Most domestic overlockers are for domestic use so it really does depend of what volume of work you plan to put through. Both these models create the same stitch options. But personally I would prefer to have the Top Drive Cutting option of the Merrylock if I was to use it for medium to heavy fabrics. The Merrylock also has a very compact free arm which which would be an advantage on smaller cylindrical items like cuffs.
@parang889 As it is an overlocker it is a little bit loud but this is a bit hard to quantify through messages. It is a great machine though and stitches well!

Nice features on this machine. Great addition of led light.
It sure is! Certainly makes threading easier.

Is this the same as the Juki mo 80? They look very similar.
Hi Sylvia - They do look very similar!
Hi Garry, would you recommend this machine for small sewing business please? I am thinking either this one or Brother 2504d

It looks like virtually the same chassis as the Juki MO-80

Sorry to hear that... what convinced you not to buy an overlocker?
