@@MarkFarge I just checked and the console needed a 1gb software update but that didn’t make a difference then I booted up the console and made sure the headphones were NOT plugged into the controller and the sound came through the TV 👌😃 The sound won’t come through the controller with headphones in as the console doesn’t send anything to the controller until it asks for you to log in, in my case it’s a PIN code.
Don't thank them until they make it permanent or if they make it permanent which they won't because it's temporary. Playstation players don't condone Sony's disrespectful behavior never caring about their players. By making this temporary that's ultimately what they're telling everyone and showing everyone. You guys shouldn't condone Sony's disrespectful behavior not caring about their players either by thanking them. Especially not after their recent PS5 Pro disgusting price point and it doesn't even come with a disc drive or a stand.

They should bring back the old start up, permanently, maybe as an option we can turn on or off. It's so much better and brings back such good memories

@ TV is not muted. All other sound works. Game audio works, RUclips works.

don't use AI sound because it adjust volume automatically depending on video
