Do you have any more details on construction ? I have a chimney and could take the smoke up up and away easily, and even put it through baffles in the lower metal chimney to make its smokeless. I love this stove model, and have searched the net for many years for the stove I want. Its not easy to find, as Pizza ovens dominate the keywords clay stove and clay oven. Now I finally have a name for it. Bless you. Its a 'chulo' which means 'hot' or 'cute' in Spanish. It seems to be an idea originating in Hispanic America, I've seen many variations of this L shaped stove + oven combo from Spanish and Portuguese parts of the world. Its brilliant, beautiful, and there are many Spanish examples that are tiled and decorated and polished and absolutely fabulous. Unlike the rocket stove, which is a bit on the hot side, this 3 step 3 level model, is obviously tested by time, and it must work for cooking moles and stews. I think it is the unacknowledged ancestor of the rocket stove, because of the strong draft and L shape. Is it used worldwide ? My email is calirott@gmail.com, my natural gardening website is www.greenidiom.com.
