  • This hike was filmed the 3rd week of June 2024. We did around 9 miles and 1600 feet of elevation gain. Great hike with views of 2 waterfalls and spectacular scenery! Not a lot of people yet, the weather was cool and cloudy with light rain in the area. Discover Pass required for the parking lot trailhead. This hike is only a 60 minute drive from Seattle.

I'm going to have to head up there if it's only 60 degrees. I am in ellensburg right now and it's hot

Nice. Check out the area around Salmon La Sac, tons of back roads and hiking trails in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness.

I love it, we just discovered the area last year! Did the Waptus River trail to Waptus Lake, a long 20 mile day hike :)
