If you watched enough Toei's Tokusatsu you know exactly what I'm talking about and you have the scenes in your head.
Pretty bizarre first episode. Japanese Yōkai, the Occult, and a crazy professor in the study of Chōjin (Super-Gods), all in the one tokusatsu series. This is a sequel to the Tōei Tokusatsu series Akumaizer 3 (1975-1976), so please watch that first.

The characters of Bibyuun, Zushin, and Basshan were all original designs by Shotaro Ishimori, specifically for this show. The Ishimori art books and publications on CHOJIN BIBYUUN bears this out.
