Nathan Lane is so underrated in Hollywood, shame. Love him, so much. Brillant actors : Birdcage, Mousehunt, The Front Page, The Iceman Cometh, The Nance, The Producers, Angels In America, Penny Dreadful City Of Angels.
he tend to do it ! even on The Birdcage co-staring with the brilliant Robin Williams , Nathan stole the show!!!! he is such a great actor, singer, funny man love him :-)
i haven't seen this movie yet, (although i really want to) but these guys are AWESOME actors! so far, my fav Matthew Broderick movie is "Inspector Gadget" (which he is so cute in!) and my fav Nathan Lane movie is "Mousehunt".
nathan lane gone so old so quickly. in 2001 he looked so young when he was doing the play, and just 4 years lated gone old so much, and what's wrong with his hair??? besides he gone fatter quickly too. max bialystock baldness is real or is fake??? nathan wears toupee or what???
Nathan looked so cute in Broadway version and young. I cannot believe that less than four years later when the movie was released, he got old that much. Looks horrible here and fatter.
+utubenotebanco except he did that on purpose he even chose to thin his hair as he felt that's what Max would look like. He wasn't restricted by the budget of the musical when he was in the film.
MegaLouis118 i dont think so. i think the only thing he did on purpose was shaving the top of his head so he could look bald, like the original version o max bialystock.

He shaved areas of his head for the film version to make it look like Max was balding.
