Mam i am from Malda district in West Bengal,it is the place where on famous Mango trees...i think u know better than me that how much desirable fruits that is.This place also famous for historical monuments as an example Adhina mosque ,Gour etc.Bedides here the famous person that ex railway Minister Barkat Goni khan chaudhry.The glaxy night sky on Malda town is so fabulous .... Most important thik that is the understanding on Hindu or Muslim both the two religion are so charming. They are live together like brother's.They are together celebrate "Eid and Durga Puja". It's my humble request to you that you come to this place and its my 100% promise that you feels better than any place in this Universe. By the way as a teacher u are the best teacher.

Ma'am, chicken neck isn't actually just Siliguri as a place. Chicken neck is a long strip starting from chopra village of North Dinajpur district & since this strip links to Siliguri that's why it is also called 'Siliguri corridor'. *Typing this comment from the chicken neck itself* 😀 anyways, thanks for this special session.

I am from purulia which is famous for Chou nach.. you can see Ajodhya hill, Joychandi hill etc... Kongsaboti flowes through this district.. and shares the boundary with bankura Jhargram district... 💐💐💐💐💐

The railway station and the university there spells it as "Burdwan" . The districts are named "Bardhhaman" . Its the same thing. 😁

It's a colonial name. Just like Chinsurah (chuchurah) , Barrackpore (BaerakPur), Berhampur (Bohorompur).

Largest district is S24 pargana and smallest is kolkata. ......I from Bengal. 1956 west Bengal formed
WB as a state of India was formed in 1950 ,26 January with the affect of Constitution of India.
In November 1, 1956 only west Dinajpur was added to WB after fragmenting it from Bihar.
During 1947 15 Aug wb was a state it was "ka" class then 1956 1 Nov it been self independent state source :wb 9 class geography book (samarendra Nad modok/
