In this VladTV exclusive, Mr. Cheeks talks about his career highlights. He revealed that one of his greatest musical moments was the American Music Awards with Diddy and riding around with Snoop Dogg.
The legendary rapper mentions that he remembered the East Coast/West Coast beef. He said it was a lyrical beef and it started getting bigger and bigger. He also said he knew Tupac before the fame and used to sleep on Biggie’s couch.

That was the first time so many heard canibus and easily verse of the year in 97. Disappointed Vlad never asked him about Canibus Battling Wu Tang. Lost Boys were witnesses to that.
"Beast From The East" and "Boyz 2 Men" were incredibly ill. Canibus murdered those tracks. I still listen to those songs today.

I deejayed Tupac when he came to the Bridge that night to perform. Lost Boyz was in there every weekend. I remember they used to get me to play Grand Puba 360 instrumental & him and Freaky Ty would do a song called Money & The Murder. Things you never seen, shit you never heard of! I remember when Cheeks called me and told me he was on the Mary J. Blige - I'm Going Down Remix. He sounded excited! That was before they had they own record. But now that I think about it, Mary was on Uptown Records. That's where they was signed to.

If he did record something prior to this I would say music makes me high remix was defiently the first record which actually gave Canibus some exposure and saw a much wider audience hear him spit.
