Thank you so much for doing my tag Raynor! I think i still have my old ladybird books in the loft somehwere, i loved them :) We did stuff too! Very interesting about you wanting to read about the emotion of hate, very interesting indeed!
The Travel Book sounds so fascinating! Thanks for your answers to this tag, Debs. Always edifying. Your Dad sounds like a great guy - what a gift to give your child!
Thank you, I think my dad was fabulous 😊 he taught me to think for myself and that I could be anything I wanted to be if I just worked at it. The Travel Book is just beautiful to dip into and out of and it is so beautiful. Thanks so much for watching 😊
A friend of mine bought a church lectern at auction and would display his huge, beautiful books on them outside his downstairs loo 😊. If only I had the room for one in the book shack, this would be on permanent display 😂
Love this, Debs. I too used to debate with my father. I miss those days. I also got my love of books and reading from him. I do enjoy non fiction but don't read much of it. I much prefer fiction and there is just so much of it, I always feel permanently behind.
The joys of debating things with fathers. I miss it very much too. I got my love of books and reading from my dad as well 😊. I’m very much into reading what you enjoy and, if that’s fiction, go for it. You learn an awful lot from fiction too 😊
Thanks for tagging me in this Pat. You are absolutely correct, this was definitely a tag for me. I adore The Travel Book, I wish I had enough room to have it permanently on display 😊
Your dad sounds amazing. I try to be like that with my children (they are only 5 and 2 but my 5 year old asks so many interesting questions and I try to show her why I believe certain things - obviously in simple terms).
@@pipercatbook8529 thank you. I thought my dad was fantastic and I can still hear his voice in my head 😊. Sounds like some great parenting from you too. I bet they will appreciate it. Thanks for watching 😊
I’d say find a subject you are really interested in and pick something from there. Let me know what your interests are and I’ll try to recommend something specific for you. Thanks so much for watching 😊
I loved watching your version of this tag. It was lovely getting to know you better.

@ this would be brilliant- every video delivered as a lecture (or public health briefing).
Next slide please..

For non fiction november I’m reading An Ordinary Person’s Guide to Empire by Arundhati Roy.
Now that sounds fascinating and right up my street. Love to know what you think of it when you’ve finished 😊
I think I have a book by the Albanian author somewhere it would add to the read your own challenge.
I have many now. I started with that one book and he quickly became one of my favourite authors. I hope you enjoy it 😊
Do you have recommendations for non fiction November for someone who is still in high school?
I’d say find a subject you are really interested in and pick something from there. Let me know what your interests are and I’ll try to recommend something specific for you. Thanks so much for watching 😊
