What a crap day 1. I’m sorry for Martin, DiGi and Fernandez, who are all injured. With no testing now, Martin won’t be competitive at the start of the season. It was a great narrative winning the #1 and putting Aprilia in the spot light, pushing them to try harder. It was great for MotoGP. But this isn’t. Speedy recoveries all around
@@giusssepe Jorge NEEDS to learn the tire & .. his setup to it .. before blasting around everywhere FFS! .. hes always been a loose cannon .. lots of potential if he'd just THINK a little more .. hes an egotist
@@Errol.C-nz I’m not sure how this incident makes him an egotist, and I highly doubt that someone at his level (along with his team) lacks understanding of bike setup. Your argument seems to rely on confirmation bias, oversimplification, and logical fallacies rather than actual data. But hey... I let you do...
@giusssepe @giusssepe look back at clips of him & some of his statements about being the fastest out there .. as to his understanding if bike setup, its not about someone, its about him, the result speaks for itself, on a new bike, new team, different tires to the previous season etc etc .. not really .. .. im not against him but hes brash, impatient & immature as Rossi has alluded to previously .. not biased just a view on the result, hes out of action & a big set back for Aprilia.. to try blaming TWO "faulty" tires, one after the other is really diverting excuses.. i HOPE they can recover.. its a BIG set back
if michelin really is at fault again there should be talks about maybe changing the tire supplier after the current contract ends. So many riders saying only the Soft works in Sepang but Michelin didnt even bring enough soft tires... and i dont even wanna go back to all the michelin controversies in the last 2-3 years.
The tires that had overlapping lap times with Moto2 on Dunlops in hot conditions? The tires they had to invent new penalties for riding too hard on? The tires that delaminated at top speed when they first tested on them? Never!
@@CompTechs The problem is also, that there are just not enough tyre tests. Michelin brings a lot of new stuff to the tests, but no one really tries it. They were planning to bring new tyres this season, but they didnt have enough feedback from the riders - because no one tried it. So Michelin is imo not really to blame for a lot
bit late for that now .. his big head ego's taken over again .. trying to prove too much before settling in to the bike .. and the team .. hes always in too much of a big hurry to be at the front .. everywhere .. he needs a better personal coach .. like his cousin
When he was at Ducati they said Martin's strong point was getting on the gas super early I'm guessing that Aprilia didn't handle the load. They will have to find a sweet spot for him or he'll have to adjust his style Jorge is a beast that bike isn't ready for him.
April is blaming their traction issues on Michelin is weak. Everyone else is riding those tires. It wouldn’t be the same tire both crashes so it has to be either their electronics or suspension.
Michelin are shit. Too much grip or too little. Lack of Tyres. Racers need predictability from tyres not surprises. Did someone say compound fractures ???? That means bones protruding from skin. PAIN.
Kudos to the commentaries that include stills and footage 👍.
Recover thoroughly & soon Champion Jorge Martin
Michelin is not to blame. There would be more crashes.

this what Marquez a super rider, the way he managed to learn how to ride the Ducati
Seems the Ducati is far easier to ride than the Aprilla.
Seems like the bike doesn’t suit his style as of right now
His team is suspecting on a faulty tire since both incidents were quite similar and with the same tires. They asked for the tires data...

He crashed like 3 times in a row? What was he thinking? This is a test session man, chill a bit
Data showed he did nth wrong 🤦😒

Both his hand and foot were compound fractures...nasty.

Agreed His single lap pace is very good

or .. the rider .. too much of a hurry to be the fastest .. again
Definitely finding the limit.
Aw dang it
I think they are pushing 2 hard , like Honda with MM(before Marc left) … the bike isn’t the level of Ducati!
is the aprilla to blame?
he should have went to gresini instead
0:28 why laugh?
Did Simon EAT JORGE MARTIN? Dude looks like the white version of The Nutty Professor
Number 1 plate curse?
Makes no difference..I see martin at best...5th place at the end of the season.
Im absolutely gutted. I was rooting for jorge seeing as ducati did him dirty last year by choosing 93
