I added/changed some things: portable speaker/Google home/Alexa, essential oil diffuser, fairy lights, paper towels/ napkins, makeup remover, and sunscreen. This was an excellent list and covered most of what I’ll need!! I think maybe a few more cleaning supplies would be useful like a mini broom and dust pan as well as hand sanitizer…but honestly there’s not much else I can think of!

While command hooks/strips are helpful for hanging things, a lot of colleges use cheap paint on the walls that peels easily when removing the hooks/strips. Unless you know your walls are made of brick or concrete (in this case command hooks/strips are encouraged), I recommend using thumb tacks or some kind of mounting putty like blue-tac to hang things on walls. Thumbtack holes can be filled with bar soap or chalk at the end of the year.

at the end of the school year, dorms’ resident assistants will usually tell students to leave their command hooks/strips on the wall during move out - if you pull it off and paint comes off you’re paying for the damages, but if the university staff pulls it off and paint comes off it’s on them lol
and i would say yes to mounting putty like blue-tac but thumbtacks are more of a hassle and sometimes not allowed as opposed to command hooks!

want to let you know that your brita filter isn't clicked into place! the bottom of the filter will hug the cross and there will be no gap between the filter and the upper water tank and it will filter very slowly when it it clicked into place!

i use Walgreens Photo to print all of my photos! i upload the files online and select for in-store photo pick-up, which is usually done in less than in hour :) Walgreens also usually has a 50% off all photos & prints discount so that helps me save some money when i’m printing a lottt
