So interesting! We’re very interested in the Trang area and are looking for a new beach destination. We are excited to see where you discover! Hoping to find a quiet spot with restaurants and options for places to stay. Looking forward to seeing more!
Another fun video. I have just so enjoyed re-viewing your Tha Khak Loop videos from 3-4 years ago --- just before Covid lockdown. Unbelievable, that you could keep the camera on --- to video the freak HAIL STORM! Also, I was so sad that you ALMOST got back to the Sabaidee Guesthouse, but not quite. Ouch. Keep on trucking. Peace and love, from the Earthpeople of Hawaii
There is so much to see in Trang! About 400meters west of the train station there was an empty temple on top of a hill. The parks near by were amazing. People there were so sweet and engaging that after all my travels in Thailand it is sitting on shared top place where I love to be in there❤
Chumphon, my hometown, is in the southern part of Thailand. There is a long beach like this too. It may not be as beautiful as Phuket. We don't have many tourists, it's quiet and peaceful. We pier to go to Koh Tao, a famous island.
Kantang is fantastic. Been there a couple times. Probably will go there again soon (I'm in Chumphon Province at the moment). The railway station is one of the oldest and most beautiful in Thailand built in 1913 and the town, though small, is packed with fantastic dim sum, steamed buns, old Chinese shrines and Thai-Chinese food. Great out of the way place and the Chinese have been in Southern Thailand for around 500+ years so a ton of history.
We just came back from trang as well. Awesome place and not many tourists. And flights back to bangkok are so much cheaper than from krabi town. Try some of the islands nearby as well!
Just found your channel, so happy! Thank you.😁👍🌟💜 Instant subscribe. Ive just been working my way around through some of your back catalogue (starting with your Cambodia playlist), so grateful to you both. Love your merch shop, you need a new design though with your bike super overloaded with luggage guys. So awesome! ✌️
Always enjoyed the food stop off in Trang on the way to Krabi. Great to see there's still miles of awesome unexplored beaches just off the beaten track there. Did you meet the Dugong by any chance?
I hid away at Hat Samran (which I think is the same beach you were riding your scooter on; if not, it looks exactly the same) for four months during Thailand's lockdown period. Life continued as normal compared to Bangkok, where I've lived for 27 years. I first visited Muang Trang in 1981 and have been visiting the province regularly every since, all the beaches and islands, the mountains, the Chinese-Thai capital etc. Always fun to see people discovering it for the first time.
I see the massaman chicken curry, I see the real colour and I think this is the real massaman curry than any restaurants that cooked for foreigners 😋. How did you miss it?
FYI, strip of land, in the lower part of Thailand, was part of Kedah before the British gifted it away to the royal house of Thailand, as a token of British friendship. By doing so Tanah Melayu, predominantly Muslim is divided; a colonist successful strategies of divide and conquer.

sounds beautiful, unfortunately we didn't wake up early enough for sunrise but if we ever go back we would make sure we visit for that time of the day, we can imagine the beauty is unreal
Another banger from Toasty's!
Amount of vegetables they gave you was EPIC haha :D

We would definitely recommend checking it out if you're looking for a peaceful beach spot. The coast is endless!
Loved Trang. Give Koh Sukorn a try. Peaceful, welcoming, amazing food and great to explore. ❤

We visited chumphon before but didn't get a chance to go to the beach there, maybe next time!
Thailand/laos is where the journey begins. ❤❤
Td sound followed by an 'r' then add 'ang' to it which sounds like 'ung' in the word hung. Might be helpful for some on their way. Nice drone shots.
Trang is fantastic. I visited PakMeng Beach for first time 20 years ago. My wife is from Trang. 🥰 A great hotel is Thumrin Thana Hotel .
Snooping around Trang...haha nice!
those are sweet potatoes balls, i used to pack packs home and drizzle them with honey. really sinful stuff with all the oil in high heat
People often don't realize there are two sides in the south of Thailand and they are on completely different seas.
Many beautiful places in Thailand ❤

Enjoy! We actually liked Chumphon too🙂

We have tried it, Olivia loves them!

I was just thinking of you guys today! Great to see you back again! 😎✌Still in Cambodia.

I see the massaman chicken curry, I see the real colour and I think this is the real massaman curry than any restaurants that cooked for foreigners 😋. How did you miss it?

It is so warm here right now!

FYI, most of the population in Trang is Buddhism, with muslim less than 20%.
You lie, and the states of Perlit, Sai Buri, Trangganu, Kalantan, they were Thai things that the British stole away when colonialism reached Malaya.

Mario….when are you moving back home to Europe?
😮😮😮
Wow.it's good for Digital Nomad.
Definitely!
do you feel this like malaysia?
It sometimes feels like a little bit Thailand and a bit Malaysia. Really interesting mixture of culture and food 🙂
