On September 10th 1995, Lisa Manderach and her 18 month old daughter Devon entered the Your Kidz & Mine clothing store in Collegeville, PA to do some evening shopping. Working alone in the store was Caleb Fairley, the son of the owners. A disturbed 21 year old who had apparently already been drilling peep holes into the changing rooms, noticed he was alone with with Lisa and decided to take advantage of the situation. He proceeded to lock the doors and sexually assault Lisa. When she resisted, he chocked her to death and then continued to have sex with her corpse. He next turned his attention on Devon, choking her as well and later dumped their bodies on the way to a concert he was attending that evening. Two day later Fairly was charged with the murders and later sentenced to two life terms. Today the shopping center still remains and the location that once was Your Kidz & Mine is now a H&R Block.

I was living in Collegeville when this happened and worked at the Acme in the shopping center at that time, which was a few doors down from Your Kidz and Mine (there also was a barber shop, a Dunkin and a florist in the strip as well). None of us knew the evil that was inside that store. This also happened on my 22nd birthday. After it happened, there were constant news vans in the area. We all placed flowers at the door of the store in honor of Lisa and Devin. I was so affected by this that I had to excuse myself from work and find someplace to cry. All of us cried. The next year, the unit was empty, but I still got some flowers to lay in front of the now empty area.The inmates at Graterford made a cross for Lisa's widower and told him they would be waiting for him, but he was sent to Fayette instead.
I was just at the park dedicated to her today. My mom had her as a student I believe in high school. So very sad. Lives cut cruelly short
My mom was pregnant with ME in 1995 walking wth my sister... JUST A FEW HOURS BEFORE THIS MURDER AT THE SHOP IN COLLEGEVILLE.
Just to think... That horrible incident could have been me, my sister and my mom!.. so sad of a story.
We still live in Collegeville today... Visited Mandarach park allot even after it happened.
My mom did not tell me that story until years later!

I’ve watched hours and hours of Forensic Files and this episode just tore my heart into pieces.This was just pure evil and unnecessary.And to just throw a baby down a bank like trash enrages me!My heart to the husband it’s unbelievable to have a beautiful family and just ripped away forever!

That likely explains why it was reported that there were small amounts of blood found inside the store. Was it possible that Mrs. Manderach was coughing out blood because of her crushed ribs as she was fighting to stay alive? Btw are human ribs really weak to trauma?

1995 was a cursed year with the death of Selena as well as Lisa and Devon Manderach. All were taken far before their time by unspeakable evil that lurked closer than they ever could have imagined.
Hearing about these incidents shot me to pieces.
This is just what I will never understand about this case. Lisa and Devon were not in some filthy and unsafe part of town full of thugs and drug dealing.
It was a children’s wear store. If you can’t be safe in a store, where can you be? Last thing anyone expects is for something like that to happen in such a place.
They were in the wrong place at the wrong time and sadly evil is determined wherever it maybe. There should have been CCTV.
I just cannot imagine what was going through Lisa and Devon’s heads in those last moments with Lisa fighting desperately to save herself and her child and Devon watching her mother being killed before her own life was snuffed out. I really hope those two angels Lisa and Devon are in a much better and safer place that offers them the safety and peace that this world failed in.
Oh and by the way, the concert Caleb went to after he snuffed out the lives of Lisa and Devon was not a heavy metal concert, it was an industrial rock concert. Massive difference between those two although they can sometimes overlap (I have been a heavy metal music fan for 26 years and I also play heavy metal music myself). The band he saw were Electric Hellfire Club who are an industrial rock band, not a heavy metal band.

Another murder that happened in Pennsylvania Lehigh County in 1995 was the Freeman Family Murders. It involved 2 brothers that killed their family. You might want to look into doing a video on that.
Why hasn't this rapist and baby killer been taken out in prison? Life in prison for what he did is not justice
Because he’s a Xstian now, and is forgiven. He paints in prison, listens to music, watches Tv, and is very active in church. How’s that make you feel? This is exactly why I’ll never be a Xstian. MY religion doesn’t forgive child killers.
I don't know why I thought this was located in Audabon shopping center. We're about the same age, I was living in Phoenixville at the time. 97-98' I worked for the family's other business in Phoenixville. I had customer's telling me about how strange he was when he worked in that location. The dad was a real nice guy, but had issues of his own, that got legal.
