Allmyluvs, I've recently discovered your channel and from the video images, my hair texture and density appears to be similar to yours. There are pros and cons to having so much hair (your twist outs are beautiful). You have mentioned that your hair is more dry now that you are fully natural. I wonder if the ingredients in some of the hair products you use - like sulfates, silicones and the sodium C14-16 sulfonate (Ouidad, Aphogee) - could be contributing to the dryness of your hair? After watching your twist out routine I will try to incorporate some of your techniques to my twist out routine. Thanks. (As a side note, I enjoyed the calypso in your aunts wedding reception - I'm Bajan)
+Obsidyenne G Hey! The products you mentioned are newer additions to my routine, prior that I only used products that were completely natural and had the same issue. My hair just requires a ton of moisture. Those products have actually helped with the dryness. Thanks for the tip! Good luck with your twist out! Yay! I love calypso too!
+Allmyluvs Thanks for responding. My hair often unravels or frizzes easily once I separate my twists. I'm trying to find a gel that gives enough hold without drying out my hair. I'll have to try keeping my hair in twists for 4-5 days as you do to see if makes a difference for my twist outs. I look forward to more videos.
+Rossy Ukpong Hey hun! I have several videos sharing the products that work best for my hair. It may be that your hair is not getting enough moisture or that your twists have not had enough time to completely dry. Maybe you could try styling your twists for a few days before you take them out. This would ensure that they are completely dry and that you get the most definition. Additionally, you could also incorporate steaming into your routine which way help too. Hope that helps 😘😘😘
Your hair is absolutely beautiful and thick ! great video ! I recently jus uploaded a video similar to this and would love if you can check it out! xoxo

Maybe it’s just me but steam make my hair super frizzy. I love the Q-Redew for deep conditioning though!
Steam is great when your prepping your hair for treatments and styling. Once it’s styled, steam can make it frizzy. 🤗🤗🤗
