      @@DonkFishPoker Indeed I am! I definitely see a few leaks in my game I gotta shore up. That first all in with my bluff against you QJT9 was just greed on my part. Gotta be more disciplined in spots like that.

    • @DonkFishPoker
      @DonkFishPoker  2 года назад +1

      @@TeeheeFr0g2 yeah I had a feeling that you were just squeezing there preflop very light in order to pick up all of the dead money but you’ll learn from it and be better moving forward. That’s really the main point of the game, to allow people to make the mistakes when it doesn’t cost as much.

    I love that you shared the hand that you had plans to steal because you had the 9 of hearts blocker. I felt like that was your subtle way of saying "making plays because you hold a blocker is stupid". Hahaha

    That kj109 was an interesting play :) this is a good example of why I advocate for smaller raise sizes preflop. Had you just min open pre flop you might have been able to just call the 3 bet because it would have been a lot smaller. Probably either way your hand is a fold.
    If your gonna punt or make some loose plays make sure you table those cards win or lose and make sure everyone sees what you just got it in bad with

    • @DonkFishPoker

      I see what you’re saying there. I know it’s a bit out of character for me but KJT7 isn’t that big of an underdog against bad aces. I thought you guys wanted to see me gamble more? 😂

    I don't understand the plan with the 9 of hearts. It's one thing to have the nut heart or a pair of 9s but you're not really blocking anything.
    Also don't love the $65 "bluff value" bet. You bet the turn which makes it look like either you have a boat or a diamond draw. What hands do you think will fold to your $65 bet? A low pair? Why is the low pair calling your turn bet? A nut flush draw? You're beating all of those except for AK or a pair with it.

    • @DonkFishPoker
      @DonkFishPoker  2 года назад +1

      I guess I was overly ambitious with the straight flush blocker haha.
      I figured I could get a hand such as JJTx to fold, I definitely have to work on my bluffing skills. Thanks for the feedback as always Andrew. Hope the new job is going well!

    • @drdrayfromla99
      @drdrayfromla99 2 года назад

      I was saying the same thing about the 9h straight flush blocker- if you have it, they’re just going to pay you off and chalk it up to being a cooler. A little ambitious lol.
      Getting quad As twice and getting paid off one of them indicates a great sun run fun session.

    Kj94 hands is missplayed in so many levels... Completing from sb is bad and floating oop with a nine flush blocker 3 way to bluff later is enormously ambitious... No reason to make such fancy plays vs recreational stationy fish my friend.
