[Madrid] 5 emergency vehicles to 4 calls in 1 video
- This is a rare shot with a total of 5 emergency vehicles responding to 4 different calls at the same time in one un-cut video.
At first we see a public information van of the local police (rare to see on emergency) responding past the fire station. At the same time the fire station gets a call for a pumper and a ladder truck. The fire units have not left the station yet when a new call comes in for another pumper. Finally at the end an ambulance is heading to the hospital.

Amber lights are emergency lights? Wow that's different
Awesome video! :D
The first police van is so difficult to catch it on emergency call. This unit is from 'Tourist Police'.
That's a very lucky multiple catch, great video. Those units have very cool lighting, especially the ladder and ambulance.
orange emergency lights....never seen that before ! cool ! in my country only the waste trucks have it
I think you're seeing the bigger picture here. In America, (or any country) has it that most garbage trucks, road-working vehicles, or any other construction-type of vehicle, has amber/yellow/orange lights. In Spain, fire trucks and half of ambulances have amber/yellow/orange lights.
Pumpkinhero2 Why they prefer orange or yellow lights. These lights are usually used in tow trucks, garbage trucks or construction vehicles.
hibiscus44, he just said cool and you are taking it as if they were less effective? Stop it, get some help.
Because we Spaniards, we like to take the opposite to the whole world. XD XD
Linosq jajajajaja agree. Spain is different
Wow ! Très rare et tellement beau à voir ! Vraiment une super vidéo ! :)
Nice catches mate!!
Excellent video!
Nice Catch Mate!👍🚒👨🚒
Wow! Great video! The police van is very difficult to see in emergency ....
Emergencias ES ya the police van has very few lights in the front
OMG, what a chaotic show :-D.
Two alarms in the same time..
Spain... ^^
Nice combo! :-)
very nice air horns from Martin ! Is a good choice for signalisation than Vama AS320 sirens...
Great video, I love it
fire alert
😀😉
Great video
Nice !
Spanish fire truck still use Hi-Lo, Portuguese sometimes use.
Love the idea of stop boards to stop traffic
They should have automatic lights to turn red and stop traffic coming, the firefighter almost got hit around 3:41 trying to stop a car and not looking at the fire truck.
wow incredible
Great video. The regulation of the traffic is however uncoordinated. Instead of firefighters with signs, there should be a traffic light that shows red when the vehicles have to leave.
i agree
Usually it's coordinated
wow 3.40 becareful!! nice video
Pity you didn't get to hear the ambulance siren as its very unique
the stop sign the fireman was using was in English
Official EU stop sign
nice video
Not sure why are the emergency lights has to be ambers lights.Other European cities the emergency lights are blue.
We also.have this Firetruck siren in Netherlands.
yep
Spanier eben ^^
amber lights on the fire trucks but red in the station?
3:08 ehh que falta Peña xd
Que risas me estoy echando
Jajaj me parto
Those firefighters had absolutely no idea what they were doing
Only from your point of view.
they were idiots pumper cut the ladder off and amber lights its the tow truck with a sirn get out the way
@@noahjones8213 always wonder what colour thier non emergency servers use? Red?
@@thunderbear0 amber, service truck and slow moving vehicles use amber like those emergency vehicle. In 6 years the emergency vehicles change from only ambers lights to amber-red or amber-blue to only use blue
@@thunderbear0 read the last line of the previous comment, unfortunately for you they change for blue lights, great for everyone that they aren't Spanish. Thinking about it, in 26 of EU nations and other Europeans use blue and red (only blue, only red, red and blue, blue and white) using ambers only for directional lights/traffic advisor and the majority of service and slow moving vehicles have amber lights, going in Spain and see those type of lights, the majority of the cases tourists don't give away fast enough. If you want some crazy stuff look some Chilean firetrucks, American truck with Martin horn, European truck with Q-siren
Really great piece of uncut footage - I don't agree with the other comments - At least they were running around not leisurely deciding what to do next. Its great they have men to do traffic control when exiting the building a time when potential for accidents are many. This is Spain right so they have passion and that shows in this video. They were not running around not knowing what they were doing they were reacting to the calls coming in thats all.
Bullshit.
You said a stupid thing because its too dangerous to send some people in the middle of the road to stop cars as the firefighter can be hitted by a car or a car stops and another one rear ends it
Here in America the yellows lights behind our emergency vehicles are used for cautionary reasons but most people think there just yellow lights that flash but they mean stay back away from behind them that's why they flash yellow behind them.
here in spain too, the yellow lights say you where do you have to go to pass them

Alter Schwede, haben die eine Organisation. Voll lustig. Sie brauchen eine Livecam.....
What an absolute shit show in that fire station. The firefighters are literally sprinting, not just running, around the station and sprinting out into traffic freaking everybody out. The emergency vehicles have sirens and they have lights. They don't need firefighters running around aimlessly in the street where they could get hit by a car. Absolutely ridiculous. Fantastic video though!
I believe Madrid firefighters finished training the latest recruit batch a week ago or so, those must be the rookies who still don't know their way around.
It appears that in most countries they have people do traffic and pedestrian control as the vehicles leave the station. Even in this day and age people can't seem to get out of the way of emergency vehicles.
Uhm... in my city, there are lights that operate as soon as a vehicle is about to leave the fire-station: they will show amber for about 3 or 4 seconds, than will turn red. At the same time (only if necessary), the junction very near to the station, is either complelety pre-emptied by electronic command from the station or locked in an 'all-red' situation. This works flawless most of the time and there are more cities with special lights or the possibility to control the lights at junctions so they have a clear pathway to leave the station and be on route to the emergency.
Liam Pattison Photography but they don’t STOP FOR EMERGENCY VEHICLES... even in New York in the US one of the busiest states in the US (apart from California) they have people running into the streets to stop traffic
que falta peña!! vaya caos,
Why are they have orange lights?
Confused....don't they know what trucks they are assigned too?
Why haven't the ambulances got tinted windows though?
2:21 yellow lights on firetrucks?
London Fire brigade siren
I like spain fire truck 🚒
Also professionell wirken die dort ab leider nicht!
Ist aber ein gutes Video :)
these Firefighters look lost af... did there not know which person is on which unit?!
also why having units in the front bay when there use the units in the back?!
Amber flashing lights though
chaotische Zustände.
What the heck is this chinese firedrill stuff? Hahaha, awesome catches!
who's turn is it now?
"Who's on first?" :D
Orange lights?
Yellow but in the night look like orange...

Amber lights on their vehicles in stead of blue?
The regulations were a bit different in Spain until a couple of years ago. Only police were allowed to use blue lights back then, while ambulance and fire had to use amber and optionally red lights too. Today however, regulations have changed so every emergency vehicle despite function must have blue lights
Yellow lights, interesting
But mostly stupid ^^
@@PeterNichtlustig0815 i agree with you. Here in Italy, as an example, almost all of the dump trucks or the trash callecting ones have orange lights because they mean: "pay attention at the big truck". But fire trucks or ambulances have the blue ones wich means emergency.
Now emergency vehicles have blue lights, but there are some places when you can see ambers lights on them
Yellow lights???
Hola vivo en españa 🇪🇸 pues uuuuuuuuu
Why do they use amber.
Bombero perdon
Why the light colour it's yellow?
I don't know, but now they change it to blue lights
Yellow lights ? WTF
0:18 corious that in the back part are write police in all languages
Eduard puig because its a vehícule of tourist police
I think you will find it is a information vehicle and Spain is also multicultured so that is not unusual.
For smart people, two alarms in the same time... Ok??
Why are the lights amber makes no sense
Spanish law only allows police to use blue lights
2 calls
Uuuuuu i living spain 🇪🇸 so uuuuuuuu
Awesome and extremely rare coincidence! :) Reminds me of my 5 in 1 (5 vehicles to all different calls) in Prague: ruclips.net/video/AKr5Gyenuc0/видео.html Just that it went like boom boom boom one after another lol
Schleichwerbung...

absolutely top...lol
Spainish like orange
Broken lights is a standard in Spain?
Would it not be cheaper, and safer, to install a set of traffic lights outside the fire station to stop the traffic? Then again, being Spain, the cars probably would not stop anyhow. What a farcical situation. I hope they perform better on the firefront.
You do not want to stop that street for 30 seconds, there will be jams 2 km around...
You do not want to stop that street for 30 seconds, there will be jams 2 km around...
And how exactly for being Spain wouldn't cars stop? From what I gathered traveling around Europe, Spaniards are among the most civilized people at the wheel.
I get the idea there are already some kind of lights informing motorists that there are emergency vehicles to be expected to turn out. At least, that's what I think the amber flashing lights in the beginning are for.
nice work

So amber lights only?!
Now they changed to blue
I wish dont like New York fire truck

Quite wired to see orange lights on an emergency vehicle
i have no clue why they use amber lights
Bill Beuhner, It's spanish law, the police use the blue lights and the medical vehicles use the amber lights. So people don't get confused ;).
Prepare for idiots coming to whine about the amber lights.
just dont understand why they chose amber makes no sense to me
Bill Buehner in spain, only the police is allowed to use blue lights
