ive been watching this for like 3 times already and it's not just the tutorials it the explanation of how we are looking at creating music, Soy is talking to us about these short seasonings that will alter the way we approach creating music dramatically... but using things in our VST Library we take for granted ... good job young man!
Great tutorial But how to set Ozone Imager? 😁 for me this plugin is too complicated😁 and I can't find Equalizer Q8 on the waves website😁But anyway, thank you for making this tutorial😁 Peace
I made the coldest beat I ever made last night. I have one question though, have you had any issues with copyright flags on RUclips videos or twitch streams?
Isn't this counter intuitive? Why do you choose duplicating each slice to a different pad while you can use the slice mode and edit the start/end points from there and then apply each slice point o pad (just like u did manually)? Not hating bro! Just trying to figure out why you choose one of the other. Thanks fam keep it up!
I find it's easier to get the results that I want by resampling each section before i go into the slicer mode. I've tried chopping every other way on maschine and this method is where I landed as far as efficiency and being able to bang out 4-5 beats on every live stream. Not saying that my way is the end all be all method it's just what fits with my style and workflow. I encourage everyone to find what works for them to be as productive and efficient as possible 🙏🏽
Thank you for mentioning the length of the loops you take. I've been plagued with the "wonkiness" in Samplers time stretch function and realized i need to cut the sample in relation to both the "original bpm" of the sample and the tempo of the track itself. I used to just say "fck it" and grab Serato every time that happened but I've been pushing myself to use this function more and try to understand exactly how it works in Maschine 2. "anything past 4 bars starts to fall off and i kinda have to touch up the chops", totally affirming to hear.
When you say choke you mean it cuts off the sound when hitting the next key. On the video i didnt see where you added the choke. Great video and the quality is pristine.
