Poetry with Kunj. Episode 8 featuring Dr. Bashir Badr

In this episode, we read one more of Dr. Bashir Badr's ghazal. I have typed the ghazal in its original Hindi script, and then typed it in English script. And then, I've tried to translate it in English for the folks who struggle understanding Hindi.
मै कब कहता हूँ वो अच्छा बहुत है
मगर उसने मुझे चाहा बहुत है
Mai kab kehta hoon vo accha bahut hai
magar usne mujhe chaaha bahut hai
When do I say that he is very nice
but he loves me a lot
खुदा इस शहर को महफूज़ रखे
ये बच्चों की तरह हँसता बहुत है
Khuda is sheher ko mehfooz rak.khe
ye bachchon ki tarah hasta bahut hai
May God keep this city safe
it laughs a lot like children
मै तुझसे रोज़ मिलना चाहता हूँ
मगर इस राह में खतरा बहुत है
Mai tujhse roz milna chahata hoon
magar iss raah mein khatra bahut hai
I want to meet you everyday
but there is a lot of danger on this path
मेरा दिल बारिशों में फूल जैसा
ये बच्चा रात में रोता बहुत है
Mera dil baarishon mein phool jaisa
ye bachcha raat mein rota bahut hai
My heart is like a flower in the rain
this child cries a lot at night
इसे आंसू का एक कतरा न समझो
कुँआ है और ये गहरा बहुत है
Isey aansoo ka ek katara na samajho
ku.aa hai aur ye gehra bahut hai
Don't think of it as a drop of tear
it is a well and it is very deep
उसे शोहरत ने तनहा कर दिया है
समंदर है मगर प्यासा बहुत है
Usey shoharat ne tanaha kar diya hai
samandar hai magar pyaasa bahut hai
Fame has made him lonely
it is an ocean but is very thirsty
मै एक लम्हे में सदियाँ देखता हूँ
तुम्हारे साथ एक लम्हा बहुत है
Mai ek lamhe mein sadiyaan dekhata hoon
tumhaare saath ek lamha bahut hai
I see centuries in a moment,
With you, one moment is enough
मेरा हँसना ज़रूरी हो गया है
यहाँ हर शख्स संजीदा बहुत है
Mera hasna zaroori ho gaya hai
yahaan har shakhs sanjeeda bahut hai
It’s become imperative for me to laugh,
every person here is very serious
