We notice that " Jacob's blessing to his sons emphasizes the contribution that each will make to the "...twelve tribes of Israel❤"( from Genesis 49:28a ESV Study Bible)
"While the unity of the 12 is assumed, the tribes of Judah❤and Joseph❤ are clearly distinguished from all the others in terms of their leadership role within the nation. This outcome reflect in large measure how Joseph and Judah are portrayed within ( Genesis ) chapters 37-50. Is praying a waste of time considering God has a plan? Is he really going to change his plan because people everywhere ask daily for changes? Just something I've been thinking about lately...
no- God created us to have a relationship with Him- and He wants us to be reliant on Him- to ask- to be involved in our lives- We have that awesome privilege that the unsaved don't have- While God doesn't always answer our requests in the positive, He does answer- and we have to accept that- Can WE forgive God for not answering how we like? (When we turn to God, He forgives us wholly and unconditionally- even when we hated Him before salvation)
Where God does answer our prayers how we ask, however- He often waits until we ask in order to answer- to show us that He wants us to turn to Him and rely on Him-
He wants us to seek Him “For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened". Matt 7 Also He says, “ Draw near to Me and I will draw near to you.” Don’t give up friend. His ways are not our ways and His plan is better than our. We walk by FAITH not by sight. He is working in the spirit….may the Lord open your eyes to see Him at work. Bless you.
It might be good if you taught the people how to hear God so they could pray what God wants to have happen because God doesn’t do it without them
