Looks great! I like the ring idea to prevent roots growing toward one side.

I don’t know if you covered your water lines up yet but what I did was put a rain bird timer up by my pump and made a 4 stage manifold where your 4 lines of irrigation come together and then you don’t have to mess with the timer at the bib. I have tried those timers and it seems the sun is so strong I only get a couple of years out of them and they usually go bad at the hottest time of the year when I am on vacation. Your going to enjoy the drip irrigation, it will make your life a lot easier good video.

I like that idea but I also need consistent water to the barn and greenhouse, and animal waterers. Thanks and thanks for the info.

Do you know the GPM of your well?
I used to work for a hydrogeologist and we would do pump test and recovery.

@@FlomatonFamous That is pretty good for what you need. Can it run 8 gpm indefinitely or does the water level drop in the well after a hour or two of running?
We would run wells for weeks doing pump test. At one 1200 acre apple orchard we were running 250 gpm. They had 3 wells we had to test a week each. The carbon date of the water was 1200 years old and then measure the recovery rate how long it would take for it to reach the level before we started.

Hey there! Great video. One question…why did you choose drip tubing over single emitters? I’m planning a similar project and decided on the 4 gph single emitters. Is there an advantage to the tubing?

so I can water around the tree in a 4 foot circle instead of a single concentrated area. I chose the slowest drip emitters because I'm not sure how long my well can keep up with supplying water, I've never done an endurance test.

Makes sense. I’m on the AL/FL line south of Dothan and like you have a shallow well due to the high water table. Mine is only 80 feet. This may be a better option. Thanks
