Have just watch all this collection of videos back to back. I'm very impressed with your finished video series. I live in England 🏴 and really enjoyed your journey, all the information in your narration was so well done. 👏👏👏 I'm a fellow T7 owner and think the bike is awesome. Have subbed your channel, looking forward to seeing more after your adventures. 👍
I really appreciate the kind words 👍 The T7 is such a good bike and I have been enjoying it so much. Thanks for subscribing and enjoy your T7! What is the riding like in England? I've ridden a little in Scotland, but didn't see any dirt roads. I've heard there is good ADV riding in Wales.
@@AdventurePiggy There is quite abit of off road in England, but nowhere near the scale you have in the USA or Australia. Wales has alot, there is a Yamaha Offroad Centre there and they run a fleet of dirt bikes and actually do a T7 experience with there fleet of T7's ( around 14 of them ). Have been there three time, once using their bikes and the other two using my own. I live in the South East of England and its more tight gnarly rutted green lanes, don't get many gavel roads where I live. Had my T7 nearly 3 years and its heavily accessorised and has K-Tech suspension and two sets of tubeless wheels 🤔 to name just a few of the mods. Keep your great content coming, you have me hooked 👍
Nicely done. Thanks for sharing. Three of us ran Gorham to Rangley then to Pittsburg back in august. Awesome ride. Will run it again next year. Living up north here, I never get tired of these backroads.
Great job on this series. I’ll be archiving it to reference later! My trip to New England never panned out last summer so I’m happy to have gained more context for the BDR routes for when I reschedule. You’ll have to come try that T7 in Gaspé and New Brunswick some time. Lots to explore in the back country up here in Canada 🇨🇦. Cheers.
Thank you! My first big trip was up through New Brunswick and Gaspé on the way to Labrador on my KLR in 2013. Of course the battery failed on the Trans-Labrador Highway just before reaching Labrador, but that meant I ended up spending a bit more time in Gaspé and New Brunswick. I'd love to get up that way again.
great series. i ran the whole route a few months before you in july of 22. it was an epic life experience. bummer you couldnt do quil hill. personally i thought it was the perfect finally to the route. better than the actual ending at rhubarb pond. rangely was just a magical place. thanks for posting and letting me relive my own adventure. if youre ever in south central pa looking for some trails hit me up.
Congrats on the incoming Tenere! The T7 handled these roads pretty well. I did upgrade to Rally Raid suspension after feeling like my wrists were getting beaten up on rocky roads in Virginia earlier this year. What is your current ride? I had to dab once on Dunn Rd, and Patch Mountain road had some short, rocky hills.
@@AdventurePiggy I'm on a CRF300 Rally right now (for sale if you want one :)). My wife and I did section 7 on Rallys and Dunn Rd. right after the little creek crossing was nearly impossible. The trail had been washed out by rain where it was steep leaving nothing but loose fist sized rocks behind. It was impossible to get traction.
@@AdventurePiggy Our troubles began at about 9:30 in your video. There was no dirt, just loose stone on one steep section we just couldn't get past. And a big LOL to going up the powerline trail - we did the exact same thing. One of the BDR trail designers told me that it's the "standard mistake" that everyone makes on section 7.
Oh man! When did you go through? I did it in late September. Fortunately, I went down those roads the day before torrential rains. I’m not at all surprised that everyone misses the turn. The track looks more or less straight on the gps and the intended route is all grassy at the intersection 😂

I agree. All the backroads around there are really great! I need to get back up to New England next year. It's been too long!
Great video and fitting end to your North East Backcountry Discovery Route journey. Loved seeing all the covered bridges.
It’s funny, the covered bridges are still fun even though there are quite a few locally

Thanks! Are you in the Michaux state forest area or a little more west? I’d like to get to Bald Eagle for a bit of exploring before too long.
Great video, great commentary!
Im glad you liked it 🙂
How was the T7 on Dunn Hill Rd. and Patch Mountain Rd. on section 7? (asks the guy who's T7 is due in by the end of the month).
