0 shots on target for 94 minutes will not win us a CL game. Arteta got the lineup all wrong, Trossard was ineffective, poor misplaced passes all game and Saka hardly got a touch of the ball. Jorginho should have started exactly.
Don’t talk about fair. Martinelli has been the worst player this season along with Havertz. Raya isn’t the only one stealing a living. If you’re a player seeing a guy shoot from 40 yards, I wouldn’t block him either. The shot wasn’t even shot, it was a chip. It took 3 weeks to get there. But you have 5ft goal keeper standing on the penalty spot. It looked like a goal in under 8s where the keeper can’t reach his cross bar and gets lobbed with anything high. But I’ve said it all season, you can’t consistently talk about winning titles if Martinelli is a starter. He is on a level with Dwight McNeal. The difference is Dwight McNeal’s left peg is pretty decent
@adigunners you are singling out Martinelli, when in reality Trossard was awful starting and Saka hardly seen the ball either. Raya was at fault for our loss here but lumping it all on Martinelli is beyond stupid. We didn't have any shots on target for 94 minutes, that is the whole team playing badly or underparts not because of 1 individual player.
And the Raya scapegoating continues.. anyone blaming Raya or rice for that goal dont know ball.. We were absolutely abysmal tonight. The amount of times we gave the ball away, literally every time we had possession. Last seconds of the game, we give the ball away again and they score. Atrocious performance.

That's the thing with this manager and this team no accountability from top to bottom players are allowed to drop stinkers and don't get dropped. This leads to complacency and that's one of the reasons we will stagnate on one level as a club.

I was watching the game and was frustrated with Arsenal from the 20-30 minute mark. Why wouldn’t we attack their defence in the final third? Felt like the players were scared to be aggressive in attack. I realised after half time we are playing for a draw no real attacking threat on the bench. Martinelli in the last minute if you play that kind of ball it has to come off or at least overhit instead of under hit he under hit the pass and it was intercepted in a dangerous part of the pitch. Raya if you slow down their goal in the replay you will see Raya had a few seconds to get back to his line or adjust position when it was obvious Porto player was about to shoot but he just stood there. The ball hit the bottom part of the net which tells me if Raya was further back he would have easily caught it. That goal is not top bins.
