I cry a thousand tears for the sudden loss of CDot, but I cry a million more for those in-need kitties (& puppers) that never get to experience the love and fun he and all his ffrc friends did, do & will continue to have in their time there, no matter how fleeting. 💔
CDOT sure was a mommas boy he loved his mommy dearly and she loved him the same. My heart is broken I'm still crying over Zelda, Janie and CDOT will miss them all 3 so much.

A lovely tribute to three wonderful furry friends. Loving and losing is part and parcel of being owned by cats and dogs. It is the life in between that is important whether that life is long or short every pawprint is imprinted in our hearts and when that life ends all we can do is remember. I have rescued many cats over the years and I am now 72 years young so there have been quite a number of loves and loses. Some have imprinted more heavily in my heart than others but nonetheless I carry on because there are hundreds of little souls begging for love and as long as I can dry my tears I can carry on. Bless you all at FFRC you have a large family throughout the world and they grieve with you. 😢❤

it's always sad even if you know it's coming, like in zelda and janie. but it's even sadder when a death comes so sudden and unexpected as cdot. he was one of those special personalities you find in a small percent. they will all be missed.
Thank you StripeyD for this. So very very sad, but there are some lovely memories here. I have only been watching for about 2 years so it was special to see Zelda as a youngster. Such a beauty. Janie too. The cats here are going to miss her. She helped many become used to being around dogs, and she had a great way with them. I could often hear her snoring in the quiet of the night there. Then CDot, always destined to become a Moss. What a cute and special guy. We will never forget his leaping on to Jacci;s shoulders and slobbering on her. He really chose her and loved her, and she loved him back. His loss was just a very sad accident. Thinking of Jacci as she grieves these losses so precious to her.

Once again you have captured memorable memories for each of the three of Jacci's furry family members who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge together. Although heartbreaking the Higher Power felt it would be kinder to grieve for all 3 together rather than separately at different times. We don't understand but everything happens for a reason. FFRC is a family so we all grieve together each in our own way. The final scene of the 3 on the Chewy box ascending up and across the Rainbow Bridge was the touching and fitting closure for a great tribute. StripeyD, thank you for producing this memorial video. It's so sad when a beloved animal companion dies, let alone three on the same day. It is like a door to heaven opened to call Janie's and Zelda's spirits home. I want to think that CDot's spirit jumped through the door accidentally and that is why she instantly passed. Great memories and a great tribute to 3 sweet babies. There will never be another beautiful box girl like Zelda. My Zeeba dips her paw to drink just like that! Always loved seeing Janie vs. the banana and Janie the blanket burrower and you even got Quiller in there! Also great seeing some of the past kitties like Elsie and Farah. And who didn't love leapin' droolin' Cdot. That ending with the box was purrfect and made me cry. Thanks Stripey! So special. Hugs!

Truly sorry for the loss of three beautiful furbabies. CDot's story makes me tear up a bit. I came across FFRC last year at the beginning of a very difficult (and still is) time for me, and watching all the cuties on the camera each day made my day a bit brighter. I loved watching CDot's antics. I know there will be a lot of fur and cuddles waiting for us in Heaven. I truly believe that, because I know I couldn't be happy without my babies with me and since God promised no sad tears in Heaven, they will be there waiting for me. God bless

Awww, hugs to you Danny Miles on your loss. 16 years is a nice life and I'm sure you gave your cat the best life possible. Thank you for subbing to FFRC as it helps bring in some needed funds for the rescue center. Don't be afraid to join in chat. As you've probably seen, there are a lot of very kind and caring folks there. The music was included in Adobe Premiere Elements 15, a video editing software program I purchased in 2015.

I joined the chat last night but it didnt go the way i thought it may of. I said i had lost my cat and a few of them said sad to hear and that was nice. I asked a few questions to join in and i did get a reply each time. I said i was from NZ to spark something and one moderator replied. I mentioned a music thought but no reply. After about an hour no one asked me a single question which made me a little sad as i said i was new. I did remember to thank those who replied about my loss. After about an hour all the chat was going on i felt that it best to bow out and fade away. I love what the haven does and the volunteers. Me joining the chat is a special part as we look for friendship as im on my own as i lost my wife 3yrs ago. I will maybe have a look in again once or twice and decide if the chat is right for me. My confidence is kinda down as it hasnt happened before as i was asking a few questions but no one was too keen to ask me a question. I have been a part of livechat on a music show and i was included in the chat from the start. Thankyou for your help, im sorry but i feel bit unsure to try again. Keep up your great work for our beautiful cats we love.
Hi Danny. Like I said, the music came with a video editing program. I doubt it can be found anywhere else but good luck, you never know. Sorry chat didn't live up to your expectations but a lot of the chatters are wary of newcomers because some turn out to be not very nice people. Give it some time. There are a couple chatters from NZ and some from Australia. We also had a moderator, who sadly passed away last year, from NZ and we currently have a moderator living in Australia. As for chatters not asking you questions, they probably didn't want to seem as if they're prying into your personal life. Give them some time to get to know you. Ask questions about the rescue center and the cats. They love to show off their knowledge about FFRC, lol. Of course, if you don't feel comfortable on chat, you can just watch. That's fine and it's your decision. Thanks for your interest in FFRC. It's a great model for other rescues to emulate. ☮

I think that as i said i was new and recently lost my cat i hoped for someone to be friendly enough to ask me something so i could feel welcome. They may have met some bad people before, but to think that i may be as well is not a fair way to treat a new member reaching out. Better to extend warmness as i was showing signs of genuine respect. I know im lonely after losing my wife and my cat and hoped to be warmly accepted as i was nervous being my first time. Moderators are there to help, but if they even dont trust a new member, i dont know. I wish you all the best in the great work you are all doing at the centre.

I notice that there are striking similarities with the music you used for Uri's R.I.P. and wonder if that music and this music are part of the same track. Here's the thing: my wife deals with a LOT of pain every day, and the music seems to have a therapeutic effect on her. I am not sure I can afford it, but I would go so far as to buy that video editor software, just to get the entire piece of music, which I am estimating at over an hour in length, if it is comprised of both this music and Uri's. I would be grateful if you could provide further information. Thanks ever so much in advance.
Hi Rick, I have no problem with your question. I used the same music from the same software program for Uri's memorial video and this one but somehow, to my surprise, it was changed a bit. I figure it probably happened during a software update and I was totally surprised about that. The software program with this music and the music for Uri was included with Adobe Premiere Elements 15. That's the editing program I used. I doubt you can find the program since I purchased it in 2015 and there have been a lot of revisions since then. I do have an idea for you though. You can record this video and/or Uri's video using Microsoft screen recorder, assuming you have Windows 10. It's a feature that's included in Windows 10. Here's a link as to how to get to it and use it: www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-capture-video-clips-in-windows-10 Another suggestion is for you to just record the music from one or both videos and possibly put it on a CD to play. To have it keep playing simply put the CD player to "Repeat" or "Loop." Personally, I prefer the version used in the Uri memorial video but that's me. I hope this helps. Let me know how you make out.

The only thing that is just a tad frustrating is that both pieces of music fade just as some interesting changes take place in the melody, but I imagine that is what Adobe supplied. Hi Rick. You are correct about the music fading being a function of the Adobe software. It knows when the end of the video is approaching and changes the melody to set up for the finish. It sounds like you know enough about editing where if you choose, you can simply cut the ending off so if you put the music on "Repeat" it will be a seamless loop. Hugs to you and your wife.

I couldn't stop crying with Jacci my heart really breaks for Jacci it was really a big shock for her I miss Zelda and Janie and especially Cdot as well I lit a candle for Jacci and Steve it was a really a big shock to us I know Jacci is staying strong as well Thank you Stripey for the memories of Janie and Cdot and Zelda boxes will be strange without Zelda now and I will also miss Janie's bark as well Elise is back at school now and my sisters birthday on the 3rd September and my Auntie Valerie came up yesterday to bring my sister's birthday present she showed the video of her dog Sam and her cat Tigger walking lol I wrote my sister's birthday card Trixie is doing well and I was in the garden yesterday with my mum she was cutting the archway down and I had licorice and chocolate and crisps and I had lemon cake as well Debbie might have her Vern scarf today lol and I will say hola to Sharon and Debbie for you Stripey my mum liked your video Stripey I hope you are keeping safe and well

Great memories and a great tribute to 3 sweet babies. There will never be another beautiful box girl like Zelda. My Zeeba dips her paw to drink just like that! Always loved seeing Janie vs. the banana and Janie the blanket burrower and you even got Quiller in there! Also great seeing some of the past kitties like Elsie and Farah. And who didn't love leapin' droolin' Cdot. That ending with the box was purrfect and made me cry. Thanks Stripey! So special. Hugs!

Truly sorry for the loss of three beautiful furbabies. CDot's story makes me tear up a bit. I came across FFRC last year at the beginning of a very difficult (and still is) time for me, and watching all the cuties on the camera each day made my day a bit brighter. I loved watching CDot's antics. I know there will be a lot of fur and cuddles waiting for us in Heaven. I truly believe that, because I know I couldn't be happy without my babies with me and since God promised no sad tears in Heaven, they will be there waiting for me. God bless

Oh my dear sadness. Ive just found this incredible place where cats are loved. Im still grieving the loss of my cat 4mnths ago and had her for 16yrs.Zelda is so similar in looks. Awww, hugs to you Danny Miles on your loss. 16 years is a nice life and I'm sure you gave your cat the best life possible. Thank you for subbing to FFRC as it helps bring in some needed funds for the rescue center. Don't be afraid to join in chat. As you've probably seen, there are a lot of very kind and caring folks there. The music was included in Adobe Premiere Elements 15, a video editing software program I purchased in 2015.

I joined the chat last night but it didnt go the way i thought it may of. I said i had lost my cat and a few of them said sad to hear and that was nice. I asked a few questions to join in and i did get a reply each time. I said i was from NZ to spark something and one moderator replied. I mentioned a music thought but no reply. After about an hour no one asked me a single question which made me a little sad as i said i was new. I did remember to thank those who replied about my loss. After about an hour all the chat was going on i felt that it best to bow out and fade away. I love what the haven does and the volunteers. Me joining the chat is a special part as we look for friendship as im on my own as i lost my wife 3yrs ago. I will maybe have a look in again once or twice and decide if the chat is right for me. My confidence is kinda down as it hasnt happened before as i was asking a few questions but no one was too keen to ask me a question. I have been a part of livechat on a music show and i was included in the chat from the start. Thankyou for your help, im sorry but i feel bit unsure to try again. Keep up your great work for our beautiful cats we love.
Hi Danny. Like I said, the music came with a video editing program. I doubt it can be found anywhere else but good luck, you never know. Sorry chat didn't live up to your expectations but a lot of the chatters are wary of newcomers because some turn out to be not very nice people. Give it some time. There are a couple chatters from NZ and some from Australia. We also had a moderator, who sadly passed away last year, from NZ and we currently have a moderator living in Australia. As for chatters not asking you questions, they probably didn't want to seem as if they're prying into your personal life. Give them some time to get to know you. Ask questions about the rescue center and the cats. They love to show off their knowledge about FFRC, lol. Of course, if you don't feel comfortable on chat, you can just watch. That's fine and it's your decision. Thanks for your interest in FFRC. It's a great model for other rescues to emulate. ☮

I know im lonely after losing my wife and my cat and hoped to be warmly accepted as i was nervous being my first time. I notice that there are striking similarities with the music you used for Uri's R.I.P. and wonder if that music and this music are part of the same track. Here's the thing: my wife deals with a LOT of pain every day, and the music seems to have a therapeutic effect on her. I am not sure I can afford it, but I would go so far as to buy that video editor software, just to get the entire piece of music, which I am estimating at over an hour in length, if it is comprised of both this music and Uri's. Hi Rick, I have no problem with your question. I used the same music from the same software program for Uri's memorial video and this one but somehow, to my surprise, it was changed a bit. I figure it probably happened during a software update and I was totally surprised about that. The software program with this music and the music for Uri was included with Adobe Premiere Elements 15. That's the editing program I used. I doubt you can find the program since I purchased it in 2015 and there have been a lot of revisions since then.
I do have an idea for you though. You can record this video and/or Uri's video using Microsoft screen recorder, assuming you have Windows 10. It's a feature that's included in Windows 10. Here's a link as to how to get to it and use it: www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-capture-video-clips-in-windows-10
Another suggestion is for you to just record the music from one or both videos and possibly put it on a CD to play. To have it keep playing simply put the CD player to "Repeat" or "Loop."
Personally, I prefer the version used in the Uri memorial video but that's me. I hope this helps. Let me know how you make out.

The only thing that is just a tad frustrating is that both pieces of music fade just as some interesting changes take place in the melody, but I imagine that is what Adobe supplied. Hi Rick. You are correct about the music fading being a function of the Adobe software. It knows when the end of the video is approaching and changes the melody to set up for the finish. It sounds like you know enough about editing where if you choose, you can simply cut the ending off so if you put the music on "Repeat" it will be a seamless loop. Hugs to you and your wife.
