Right there with you. Chester / LP saved my life in my early 20s, and losing him made it to painful to listen to them any longer. Halocene's covers are an amazing tribute to him and allow me to listen again.

i miss Chester. Even though I didn't like his last album I always deeply respected how he liked to evolve his sound with each new album and I was still excited to hear what would come next.

Brad and Addie, I am sorry you went through this. Just within my lifetime I knew a time where this only happened in a few isolated cases outside of war. Then just the last 15 to 20 years it turns into an epidemic of violence. I am a survivor of PTSD as well, being deployed to a war zone and being involed in other events, but I was fortunate I faced those where I had some limited protection and ability to fight back. Being so helpless adds a whole other layer of fear. I am glad you have had your music to process it. May you grow more from it and be blessed.

It’s not often a RUclips version is mixed better than the original, but damn! The drums kicked in at the beginning and my jaw just dropped...they sounded HUGE and just as important, clean.
