    I think that Egyptology is more relevant to our world than is generally recognized at this time.
    It is difficult to overstate the benefits of exposing, learning and understanding about what the ancient Egyptians knew, did, realized and accomplished.
    Ancient Egypt can help to inform us about the procession of human civilization to where it now stands.
    To learn about thousands of years of continous history will require various academic disciplines, inquisitive and creative minds.
    As humanity rushes forward, it is important to learn, know and understand where it has been.

    As far as the various foreign groups that took over Egypt. Is there any info that can tell us how much these people changed the makeup of the ancient Egyptian population? How many of those foreign groups settled in Egypt? What were their numbers in comparison to the native Egyptian population?
