With these beautiful covers and the music I feel like I'm being hypnotized, lol. My favorite is the Third Kirby cover where the Skrull is ripping out that boulder. Even if he drew the arm anatomical incorrect the muscle detail still looks very cool.

Ello Nighttiger! I try to keep my channel pretty chill. The music is supposed to go with the whole "Spectre" theme. Yeah, I love me some Kirby too. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video. I am happy that you enjoyed it! 👍

I thoroughly enjoyed looking at your haul.
Got a real hankering to read some of those Thor, Captain America and Falcoln issues.
    Really great!

Greetings BearCubster! I feel you, I sometimes binge read books... It's usually when I am rebaggin/boarding them or when I think I am going to "organize" my collection... As soon as I start pulling out books I soon find myself sitting on the floor reading them. LOL. Again thanks for taking the time to watch the video. Hope to see you around as a regular. 👍

Love it! Hard to beat this time period (Silver-Age) and I agree with catsintexas, nothing these days can compare.

I completely agree, getting older books mean a lot more to me because they are in extremely limited supply... Every day they get older and I would rather have a poor copy of a gold or silver age comic then not have them at all.

Lots of cool Silver-Age Thors among other goodies. I think ASM 136 is the first Harry Osborn Goblin although that is understood I suppose.
Fabulous pickups. Keep up the great vids.👍

Metarog. Thank you so much good sir. I am happy that you enjoyed the video. I was pretty pumped to get that ASM 136. I don't have many keys, so its a very welcome addition to my meager collection. Again thanks so much for taking the time to watch and also for the kind words! If you ever want to chat sometime let me know!

@@SpectreGaming275 yeah that sounds good, I'm curious to know if your Thor pick ups were on line purchases or the local comic shop?

@@stormbreakerjoe4530 I picked them up through an online auction channel that specializes in silver and bronze age books.

@@SpectreGaming275 Oh, that's great. I actually went to my LCS today had gotten a gift card and found a few issues including a Journey into mystery with Thor #119 . I really appreciate your vids they are amazing and reminded me of my childhood. Thanks so much. I also recently got back into collecting mid last year, but got off track with all the modern based comics. Took a step back and refocused on my original goal, your channel reminded me so much of that. Thanks again!

and look at the colors! MAN, HOW CAN ANY COMIC BOOK fan rave...?....about the modern comic books and their art. even modern artist Jim Lee still doesn't compare with silver age. He is good, but the comics don't have the COLORS. what you said about Thor 142. The yellow...fantastic. everything is dark and sort of looks way too similar. I don't care for the excuses of "computer generated " art colors and pages. Don't sacrifice on the colors. And the COVERS...always showing a live scene. Not just a pose or big title or a 2 dimensional image of the hero. Come on.

    • @SpectreGaming275

I am happy you enjoyed my content! Honestly there is a lot to be said for classic books... I agree that art back then was RAW and more visceral... I feel like you really get feeling conveyed from the artists back then... Not so much anymore. I think todays art seems extremely static, poses... and like you said everything is done with computers now... So its fast and easy and they can pump it out fast.
