It's soo baroque that it's beautifulll. You get out of this car to get to your salon with your 26' inches wooden tv on a green carpet. You sit in your brown fake leather sofa and your wife brings you the scoth and your dog the newspaper. That's life.
gorgeous. only 2000 of the Classic made, the last commemorative full size Eldo. because it was a commemorative, there are a few out there that were preserved...this one is particularly nice with its low miles. that tailpipe is so, so wrong though...original must have rusted off. The 425 was still a Cadillac engine...downsized from the 500. The Biarritz added the beltline moldings and the padded vinyl roof over the base model. The Classic already had most of the Cadillac accessories, but the Astroroof (about 500 or so ordered) and CB were the 2 most notable options that could be ordered. Cadillac introduced the Classic as commemorative because of the final year of the full size, but also because Lincoln had the Mk V Diamond Jubilee for 1978 so therefore needed a halo car to compete.
No beer can metal and plastic on that beast now that's a Cadillac not that junk they make today my uncle had one the only Thing he didn't have was the sun roof but he had the cb and every else very nice car
Love the speedometer that only goes up to 85 mph. I'm so used to seeing 120 mph speedos as the standard on old cars even if very few of them could reach that speed.
That was peanut farmer Jimmy Carter's idea. Yeah, it doesn't matter how fast the car goes; You put a speedometer that pegs at 85 MPH "It'll make everybody drive slower thus saving gas". What a fucking idiot "president" he was!
Super nice except for the tiny tailpipe sticking straight out the back. Should have an angle cut downturned 2-1/2 tip off the resonated. My 1986 C/20 pickup still has it original exhaust and it has over 100,000 miles and it towed a boat it whole life backing in out of lakes, ocean etc. beautiful car but put the Cadillac resonator and tip back on it. It is too nice for that lawn mower looking tailpipe out the back. Also, 38,900 and the air is not working…surely you jest..?
only thing special was the crome strip going across roof..they tefered to it as a Targa top..performance was not astounding..and yes got to drive one ...
My mother had this car exactly, but she has custom wheels.. I got a chance to drive it from Detroit to Dayton Ohio... I was in heaven.. the power and smooth ride was unreal... will never forget how it drove. Hers did not have a sunroof though...
This was THE CAR , in the 70's! Love it!
It was the top of the line in Cadillac. She is a beautiful car. The standard of the world 🌎

Great looking pimp mobile that should sell fast

Gorgeous Cadillac model, big and beautiful, I had a 1977 it was a orange colour metallic with matching leather seats, I wish I’d kept it
Amberglo Firemist

*Gorgeous Cadillac Biarritz* !! *What a low mileage beauty* !! #UniqueClassicCars
sweeeet Caddy i want it
Beautiful car! My dad had the exact same year, red exterior with white roof!, Also the 8 track stereo!👍
I used to own a 1979 fleetwood, these cars are absolutely MASSIVE but still the smoothest ride I’ve ever experienced... with 4 MPG to boot! 😂
These cars were never for the poor.
If you have to mention the gas mileage you can’t afford one
Very nice 1978 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe, I believe only 500 were produced with the power sun-roof, so quite scarce today in 2021.
Yep, 475.
@@uniqueclassiccars
Wow, only 475 well that is certainly quite unique. A lovely personal luxury Coupe. I love it.
Now that's class.
My rich cousin had one in all white.. What a gorgeous car it was!!
I love these old pimp rides.
Authentic, phenomenally uncompromising American engineering. This time machine is worth $100,000. If it is auctioned, or not gone as l write!
First time I have seen a comment saying cost is too LOW. Wow, might have to frame this one.

Stellar stunning
The last of the big one's
I had one just like and it was lipstick red.
That should've been a 500 Cid engine....
Esta bellísima.

How much was this car new in 78
Only 2000 of this color combo were built in 78
Only 500 of this model came with the sunroof
Y’all can keep that Chevy
Only $ 39,000 ? I I would gladly pay 50 grand and run away with the car immediately before the owner changes his mind
I had a GMC pickup this color back then. I could never figure out what would ever posses GM to ever paint a vehicle this color. Horrible !!!
Evidence of how Toyota & Honda took the American automobile market
as their own without firing a single shot .
True but no one wants an 82 carrolla today

This is not a targa top, targa would be if you could take it out. Astroglide retractable roof slides back into the roofline.
Damn that thing is fugly... I think my 1976 Pinto Runabout was cooler LOL

Yeah thats your class.😂
