I like everything except the TV placement. My opinion, the TV should be always be opposite the couch. Need to find a way to swing the TV down from the ceiling or have it embedded in the lower wall and power it up. I don’t mind it blocking the windows.
I'm so glad you guys do what you do. It's a great way to showcase what's out there without having to travel all over to different dealerships, etc. I hope Entegra keeps creating different floorplans. Also glad they listened to you about the piano hinges! 👍
Entegra did a great job on this Class C. I love the fact that the RV has a fiberglass roof. The big bunk window is excellent. I love the fact that the hookups are enclosed. Two A/C units are a nice bonus. I want slam-latch doors instead of twist locks. I wish there was a way that the sewer connections could be protected from road debris while driving. I wonder if this Ford engine is one of the newer ones that have been detuned to the new 325hp spec. The driver’s area has some nice updates. I like the driver and passenger seats and the big infotainment screen. The bunk-over-the-cab is nice. I am sure my kids would love looking out that window when camping around Lake Ontario. I am glad to see that there are seatbelts in all seating positions. There seems to be plenty of interior storage, with I like. I agree with Andrea that the counter extension should have been flush. I would also prefer a convection microwave. If I was going to buy one of these today, I would ask to swap out the 2-way fridge with a 12V fridge. Thanks for another great video!
Hi Matt and Andrea! My dislikes are the fold up bed the counter that flips up and the twisty ties on storage doors. My likes are the storage for it being as long as it is. The sofa and the shower are all what I like. And the fact it’s Entegra and I love Entegra. So thank you Entegra. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
I would buy this unit in a heartbeat at that sale price with the F450, but Entegra is going back to too much dark wood :( and dark leather; then add convection m'wave and ditch the oven. love the refrig in "wood" face. Thank you for getting them to make incremental changes, like hinges. Love BR windows too.
Matt that is a beautiful rig but I'd like mine without a slide and it must have a full-time bed. With an Entegra you get quality and a well built RV. You and Andrea both look amazing today. Beautiful sales people. Cheers 😙🥂😘
Hi guys! A suggestion about the bathroom…. The bathroom could be fixed by moving the toilet to where the sink is and putting the sink in the corner next to the window.
Hi Matt and Andrea! Don't worry, I keep checking out your videos from time to time!I may not always make it to a comment, but will as much as I can, catch those "Thumbs up!"!!👍Love this motorhome inside and out(except for the door knobs that twist, you're right)!Take care, guys!🎺🎺🎺🎺!
Great RV and nice price point as well as layout. Really like the water connections behind locked compartment. While I wish gas would have been behind a locked compartment, a locked cap can easily remedy that issue. Appreciate the hinged storage in dinette seats. Overall, very nice. Great job Entegra. Matt and Andrea, always a pleasure to watch your videos.
Thanks Matt and Andrea! Sure wish 12V fridges were the standard!!! I’d like to see the 2023 26M and totally agree about twisty compartment hardware. Slam latches please. Shower is great, maybe small fold down bench for shaving?! Theatre seat option? I really don’t care about an outdoor TV so would put that in the bedroom. LOVE all the windows in there, well done Entegra ;-) Appreciate your work!!
Entegra makes great Class Cs! My favorite is still the Odyssey 26M with the outside kitchen, U-shaped dinette, fireplace BOC with the big windshield & murphy bed!
Another great review! Seriously. Yep the tv isn’t in the greatest spot but get a couple short bungee cords and hang it above the dinette, problem solved. Cup holders on either side of the bed are great for my beer! I’ll buy it!
I'll definitely set a Saturday aside to drive the 20 minutes to General RV in Ocala to meet you Matt & hopefully Andrea! I'm seriously considering my options on which model might be appropriate for my purposes!
The fold-up bed is a deal breaker for us. The upfront TV location also doesn't fit our style. But, everything else is great. Love, love, love. What's the difference between the Odyssey 27U and the Esteem 27U?
The problem with these Class C rvs is that unless you have certain wants you might as well either step to a bigger Entegra or just upgrade the Class C one with full body paint, better interior seating,a.k.a. theater seating with opposite drop down TV with a better choice of kitchens.
Hey Matt an Andrea hope you're having a great day? Entegra done an awesome job on this motorhome. I was wondering how this is a 30 amp coach an not a 50 amp coach since it has 2 ac's on it? Is it like that since it has a 4000 watt on on generator on it? Thank you for everything that y'all do!! Your number 1 fan Leonard from NC.
Nice unit for most part however I don't like TV placement and I wish they made dining table smaller or collapsible. The counter extension is worthless.
Thanks for the great review. Overall, a super unit. ❤ the overall storage, the length of the unit and the bathroom 😢 the fold up bed, the black blinds and the counter extension is too small
Changes I would make: #1: Remove the sofa and the dinette. Replace them both with 2 theatre seats with flip up table tops/workstations #2: Remove the bunk over the cab. Replace with as large a screen as possible #3: Make the kitchen the entire driver side of the rv. Move the fridge over to where the dinette was (behind the driver seat) and add additional counter space between the current counters and the fridge. Put under counter dishwasher & wine fridge.
Love it!! I still don't know WHY the rv makers always put in huge double sinks and have less counter space!!!???? People want counter space!! Put in a medium size sink and there will be more counter space!! Then, there won't be any need for a counter extention!! I still like everything else about this motorhome!!
Thanks for the insightful video! Have you ever consider canvassing the user community to see what they are looking for in a motorhome? We’re looking for: *Under 31ft (National & State parks compliant) *Queen sized bed *End tables with outlets on both sides of bed *Recliner/couch facing the TV? *Kitchen that maximizes counter space and includes a pantry *Drivers and passenger seat that recline and swivel to face the back We are interested in seeing everyone’s thoughts on: *Do you want an outside TV? *Do you want an outside Kitchen *Placement of the inside TV *One or two air conditioners Looking forward to seeing everyone comments
I sincerely appreciate your style of reviews and walk throughs! Personally, I like to also know size of storage bays and storage doors (outside basement). I also like to know which brand name of slide out mechanisms (prefer no slides, but refuse one brand). AND is the couch or dinette available for upgrade to comfy recliners? TY
Entegra Odyssey’s are the best bang for your buck. Only thing they should change is tv placement- change hide a Tv like the accolade xt across from couch. Also for all Entegra - They should switch out jack knife sofa with tri fold sofa or option for the current recliners.
Hey so here we go with a cool class C .:. TV would be better on the dinette 👎🏽 hinge it down from the slide out ceiling?; boondock isn’t great 👎🏽 can’t use the bed with slide in (the OHB and sofa helps); the OHB trim side has too much plastic 👎🏽 top hinge shallow cabinets would hold more / look higher end; and one more - Matt it’s as bad as failing the pppp 👎🏽 didn’t see the azdell sticker .:. MSRP bit higher than expected (my favourite has many more creature features for 10% more money),but, gotta love -28% .:. Thanks for the review M/A
Sorry, being new, what is the twisty door issue? Had those on the travel trailer. They need lubed each season. Part of my pre-season walk around. Do they fail a lot?
The RV industry has stepped it up with a lot of improvements over the last few years but unfortunately Ford has not with the interior Cab. The instrument cluster and the dash are so outdated. At least there is a large LCD screen on this one but thats it. I looked at a 2023 FR Forester 3251 DS and it actually had a single din radio no LCD screen. That really is an insult to the buyer. Anyone with a motorhome spends a great amount of time in the cab driving from place to place. Ford and others need to update the dash and instrument cluster to match these nice RV interiors especially when paying 100K plus. You and Andrea never mention this negative aspect of the cab but its something that needs more attention. The technology is out there and these upgrades are not expensive. Keep up the great work.
Matt, I watched a review of the same motorhome three years ago, and in that one it did pass the PPP test, did they change the bathroom in this one? On the video, I couldn’t see a difference in bathroom layout.
I really would prefer a smaller unit like this-feels less intimidating to drive. But in smaller units I really wish they’d make the dinette optional and option king or queen size bed. Some folks might prefer a smaller bed and/or no dinette if they can optimize the space differently to expand the kitchen, bath, and/or make it so the bed is usable without the slides out.
I wish all manufacturers would put an air maxx fan above the bed over the cab. Also, I would think a queen sized bed with more shelves in back would be attractive to full-timers as a nice option. Another option I would like is only one A/C and solar prep; maybe skip excess outlets. But there are always a few compromises and this is a great class C for national and state parks!
I wonder sometimes how many times the RV buying community has been spared unnecessarily tasteless, awful, gawdy valences by Matt and Andrea? Or how many manufacturers are afraid of Matt's pointing out ridiculous cost-cutting measures like cheap pieces of loose plywood sitting on a dinette bench instead of the simple, elegant expedient of a piano hinged cover giving easy access to storage? How many badly designed radius showers, senselessly undersized refrigerators, plastic toilets in barely accessible locations or kitchens with no counter space are *not* produced by an industry that knows that sooner or later, Matt and Andrea are going to illuminate such blunders in the cold light of dawn? I think you two are performing a valuable service to an industry that, especially now, simply can't afford to ignore the commonsense requirements of its customers. Your reviews are always so fun to watch, and so informative to prospective buyers. Keep up the good work :)
We had planned to buy an Odessey until we saw the Esteem (29V, best class c available) and despite looking for a class A or Super C recently, we can't find anything we like that for the money is better, so keeping it. Dislikes: twisty storage door locks, ccc, tv position, no theater seats, sink behind dinette seating unless you want your hair washed while sitting there, window where headboard should be (deal breaker). Likes: warranty, 2 ac's and king bed. The sale price is $26k more than we paid for ours.
This floorplan has so much potential, but the horrible TV position combined with the cheap jackknife sofa and the Dollar Store cargo door twisty locks are dealbreakers☹️☹️☹️
Just picked up our 23 27u a few weeks ago! We went through you guys for the best price in America with RV retailer but sadly, it was anything but the best price. Anyway, we really wanted the 30z but "settled" for the 27u in exchange for being slightly smaller.
Congratulations on the Motorhome :) Its all about getting one and making memories :) Let me know when you want to get the 30z I will personally take care of you to make up for the best deal ;)
@@MattsRVReviews How'd you know we would end up with a 30z down the road anyway! 🙂By the way, this sales price is very close to what we ended up paying; anyhow, it's interesting to see some slight differences, like we don't have that tower of power! (going to need to do something about that) There is just a wireless phone charger, and we are missing piano hinges on one side of the bench, but we have them on the one you showed. On the bright side, we have solar, not just the prep!
@@MattsRVReviews Thank you, guys, for the Videos! Seriously very helpful, and we watch them regardless of if we are shopping! Maybe we'll see you in person next time (we are near JAX)
@@MattsRVReviewsCan you do a review for the Entegra odyssey SE 27N Ford 450 version perfect No slide model. I can only see pictures but not a 2024. Also do they have dual pane windows, Also are they 4 seasons What is the R-value walls ,roof, floor? Can’t find any of that information. Jayco Redhawk is the same model what’s the difference? Or is this marketing like Ford and Mazda pickup. Anyway The Wife and I like the Entegra/ Jayco no slide class C motor home. Pocket door to block cooking area, and full door not cut at top to block bedroom. Plus good poop in position with a window above the toilet like they’re supposed to be. Wish they had white cabinets or close to white. Our second choice is Entrada East West 2700NS in the Ford 450 version. 1st or 2nd choice We would want auto leveling, swivel chairs, driver, and passenger. Anyway to get these 2024 models reviewed side by side hard to find no slide Class C with flat floor no step up to trip.
Wish all the RV manufactors would stop making twisty doors. My dislikes are that I don't like fold down beds, not a fan of the TV placement, and the counter extension should be flush to the counter. I like the king-size bed, the amount of storage, and a BIG thank you for the piano hinges! Thank you, Matt and Andrea, for sharing this video. Hope to make it to the RV show in Tampa in Jan.
Wow, do you guys have some kind of secret teleportation technology you're not telling anyone else about? 🤪 It seems like one day you're in the states and then the next day somewhere in Germany and then the next day back in the states. lol
This is Awesome RV I do agree with all your likes and dislikes but on the sink I Think if they would have put sink covers on them it would help with counter space and then I think you did touch on that little extension. I still would like an Outdoor kitchen but on that small of an RV???? The TV Location is not good at all I think if it would have Been on a Televator Or hung over the table this way everyone could watch TV together an for me that king bed should have been a queen. Any way I do really Like it especially with the slide out its very speciose me.
Suggestion....make the dining/kitchen table slide back and forth and lock for bigger folks. The seat fit seemed a bit tight for Matt. TV not ideal for viewing. I do like to angle cut on the table though. No TV in the bedroom...boooooooo!
You really showed up these American units with the Euro trip! When compared to the Euro units they seem like 2002-2005 models.Incredibly overpriced to boot!
LIKE THE KITCHEN THE LIVING ROOM THE STORAGE DON’T LIKE THE TWISTY OUTSIDE DOORS THE MASTER BED 🛌 SIZE IT NEEDS TO BE QUEEN SIZE BED 🛌 THE TOILET REPLACEMENT
For $120k and no solar panels? Wah wah wah Should have at least 2 panels/400 w. lithium batteries. Counter extension should have been flush. Love the windows in the bedroom. Wet bay looks great. Bedroom should include a TV. Overall IMO over priced. A U shaped dinette would have been a nice touch.
Wow, it looks like Entegra beat Winnebago in listening to you about the water controls being moved inside the storage door, yeah!!!!! Dislike #1: Andrea completely blew by the electronic controls in the kitchen so we can't determine if there is an onboard inverter??? #2: The L.P. Refrigerator needs to have a 12-volt DC fridge option. Is this a 1992 model or a 2023 model, come on! #3: No apparent dual Lithium LIFEPO4 battery open, again, is this 1992 or 2023? Like #1: Floorplan general Layout with a not bad OCCC capacity of 1900#. #2: Fresh/Waste Tank sizes are acceptable for a Class C. #3: Storage under dinette is easier to reach now. An almost dislike is the 70 inch length bed, I am not sure if it will work for us considering I am 5'11" and currently have a Lance travel trailer with 80" long bed. I will try it out at the Tampa RV Supershow.
What a joke on the price of these pieces of junk. Major depreciating asset! Wasn’t this same motorhome around 90k two years ago (sale price)??? On top of the over-inflated price you get interest rates that are double what they were 2 years ago. Good luck selling these. Anyways, you guys are awesome! I love your videos!
I like everything except the TV placement. My opinion, the TV should be always be opposite the couch. Need to find a way to swing the TV down from the ceiling or have it embedded in the lower wall and power it up. I don’t mind it blocking the windows.
I find they OFTEN put the tvs in bad places but also consider it an easy fix for those of us that don't care for the placement.
I like Boyd's comment about trying to place the TV to where it drops down from the ceiling. Totally agree.
Excellent idea to have a drop down TV that swivels!
That wouldn’t even be very hard to do (drop-down TV).
Totally agree...TV placement is important

Hi guys!
A suggestion about the bathroom….
The bathroom could be fixed by moving the toilet to where the sink is and putting the sink in the corner next to the window.
That is actually my preferred bathroom layout. Perfect placement of everything, and you also get a little bit of counter space with corner sink.

Our 2023 30Z doesn’t have the piano hinges 🤔 umm
You must have gotten one of the first one off the line
@@MattsRVReviews Oh well I’ll get a set and put them on. The 30Z is awesome. Thanks for the response Matt !
I like it except for the folding bed. If you can use the bed that night without bumpout.
Hope to make it to the RV show in Tampa in Jan.
what is meant by PPP? How tall is Matt? for shower size
I have the 2022 29V and may never part with it
Wow, do you guys have some kind of secret teleportation technology you're not telling anyone else about?
I'd love this
Very good waveland ms
I can’t afford to pay attention yet somehow I always watch this Chanel lol
I want this!❤
gosh-darn it's a corner kitchen and a flip bed, unfortunately this is not my motorhome
Suggestion....make the dining/kitchen table slide back and forth and lock for bigger folks. The seat fit seemed a bit tight for Matt. TV not ideal for viewing. I do like to angle cut on the table though. No TV in the bedroom...boooooooo!
I like this model but would prefer the TV to be over the dinnette.
They should have put the side entry door further back and move the sofa forward in coach. Poor design choice.
disagree.. try to sit in passenger seat in a thor. Worst seat ever ... your sitting STRAIGHT up and can't recline an inch
Hi Matt and Andrea, Wishing you Happy Holidays. Thanks for sharing 🙏🙏🙏Much Blessings to you. ✝Lord-Jesus-Christ dot 🙏c🙏o🙏m
You really showed up these American units with the Euro trip! When compared to the Euro units they seem like 2002-2005 models.Incredibly overpriced to boot!
55k I'll take one
Nice RV. Still don’t like the booth and the TV placement.
Folding bed and TV in bunk... wah, wah, wah 😞
👍👍
To all RV designers STOP putting the tv anywhere over the cab stupid awkward place to put it there
There’s no place for a trash can
Wow, it looks like Entegra beat Winnebago in listening to you about the water controls being moved inside the storage door, yeah!!!!!
👍
Those shades are terrible. TV poorly located. No sink covers?
What a joke on the price of these pieces of junk. Major depreciating asset! Wasn’t this same motorhome around 90k two years ago (sale price)???
On top of the over-inflated price you get interest rates that are double what they were 2 years ago. Good luck selling these. Anyways, you guys are awesome! I love your videos!
Matt your getting bigger
NOBODY
Lol 😂 Matt I’m gonna buy from YOU this spring!!!!
I’m ready when you are :)
