Reena Mam, thank you for this very kind video. You are a very soothing presence and you are absolutely right on this account. Sometimes we parents almost start abusing our kids though we have the best intentions. Many of us remember our past traumas with over pressurizing stressed out parents. Here, the autistic child cannot even negotiate on his/her behalf. We expect total compliance from our autistic kids ....the kid cannot argue, bargain or find excuses like a neurotypical would. Hence, the responsibility to protect child's emotional well being and his feelings rests with us. I hope we parents calm ourselves down in the best interests of the child and lead him and ourselves steadily into a Happier New Year.

Mam been 6 months I stopped the therapy because I could see major change in my child. Iam now motivated to give him real life exposure. Recently we attended all the functions of my cousins wedding and after that I could see him getting more confident. He still needs vestibular input. Which we provide him on daily basis. He has started giving logical question. Although work needs to be done there too. He needs work in protesting.

mam mere son ki speech therapist hain wo daily Monday to Saturday class Leti h aur bahut jyda pressure deti h ..last 2 year se waha par ja rha h ...ma'am mujhe samjh nhi aa rha ki mai continue karu waha ya na karu ..kahi change karne se mere bete ke ander koi parivartan to nhi aa jayega ...mai bahut Dari hui huin ..therapist kabhi kabhi mere bete ko maar bhi deti hain...now he is 4 and half year old
Hai Madam, My son is 8.5 years autistic kid. He also has aggressive behavior while we demand things/ activities. He doesn't co-operate at all at home. I reduced the activities and timing then also he behaved in the same way. What should we follow to make things happen. Please suggest something Madam.
