Wonderful!!it is very gracious to see Pakistan with your heritage eyes. I am from india, Gujarat. Similar type of narrow streets and architecture design we have at our city - Surat. Surat city is witnessed of Mughal culture. Mughal culture of food & architecture still alive in city. My grandparents belongs from karanchi. Culture of pakistani food still we do have in Gujarati house. Great history information.

I have been born and raised in these streets, dehli gate is my home town, spent my life there in these streets i remember every nook and every corner of these streets, its gud to see it again, nice vlog.
Yes, of course, I am very familiar with Delhi gate too. I had a friend Ather Khan who lived there and I frequently visited him. It was hassle to take the stairs to the third floor and you wish you could have avoided the restrooms. There were lots of rehris, malshias, pick pockets and gentry and religious book sellers and it seems like the mullas were always on speakers making some announcement. Hand-pulled carts, tongas and very noisy atmosphere overall. I don’t recall the food was that too high quality-only cheap quality food was available. To be honest with you I being a ‘Shehri babu’ and had a false pride that I belonged to posh part of Lahore, did not like Delhi gate and it’s surroundings very much. I think the romance is being built now. It was hustle to come to Akbari Mundi for whole sale and god forbid you would not dare bring your car there as there were army of beggars with unique begging tricks.
@@malikahmad8170 I can easily relate to what you say. Born, bred and lived in lahore but I never visited these areas. Heard a lot about them but I'm looking at them deeply through baalwala's lens.

Mr Balwala I wish you to meet you in Lahore, but I am a very realistic person my days are numbered there for I am pretty sure this wish can not become true. There was a very small missionry hospital but unfortunately goverment authortyes and land mafia bild some thing else my last visit was in Lahore 2015 ,I think it remains.
