- I heard all about Buc-ee's, the legendary travel center which has a loyal following and originated in Texas. Each of its locations boasts sparkling clean restrooms, numerous gas pumps, snacks, and fresh beef brisket. When I walked into this Katy, TX location there was no turning back.

It usually takes me about 20 hours to drive from NYC to Miami. If I get "detoured" to Buc-ee's it then takes me 22 hours! LOL. What an amazing place. With a full tank of gas without wait or stress, use of the cleanest bathrooms and some refreshments...all ready to drive another 10 hours as if I had just started my drive.
Yup, it's a full service travel center that's grand in scale!

The ActionKid is overwhelmed by the multitude of items at the " convenience " store .. The farm states feature the " Kum & Go " stores with similar specialities to lure in weary travelers. Excellent shop ! 🐼

Buc-ee's has some of the best road food around! The brisket sandwich, the roasted nuts, the jerky, the fudge, the beaver nuggets...it's all SO GOOD

I live in NC and when I went into the location in SC I was like - holy cow..... Now when we drive by we always stop in to get a snack because its just an "experience" :) thanks for your videos!

Oh wow. I also live in North Carolina and was also completely mesmerized by the one in South Carolina. I stop by whenever I can but there are certain days that it is just way too overwhelming. Summer beach season on Saturdays and Sundays is not a good time to go there if you can avoid it. it looks like a Stadium concourse. It’s so crowded.

Not sure if you noticed but Bucees does not provide tables & chairs to eat on. Their theory is people will come and buy but if they put tables in they would have to pay a restaurant tax -they refuse to do. Another note is they do not allow 18 wheelers to stop at. If one does come in they run them off. Bucees is great but some things are less friendly with them.

That particular Buccee's has a street right behind the store where I've seen some 18-wheelers park. Great to see a NYer enjoying one of our Texas "landmarks".

Buc -cees is smart to let AK vid in their facility . This is graet advertising for this operation - a giant convenience store / gas station with food options and dry goods . With a staff that can populate many small Texas towns . I hope they can stay in business and be successful .
Buc-ee's is like a tourist attraction, and the beaver mascot is so cute! It was neat to see a variety of food and merchandise selections, and the store is so spacious, clean, and organized. 👍 12:20 Fun cheering while making food! 😃 The longest car wash in the world is like an attraction ride, and that was neat to see. 😂 Thank you for sharing the amazing tour of Buc-ee's, AK! 🤗
They were not kidding about everything being bigger in Texas 😂🤠 that store is huge.
Whenever you go up the coast of Florida or take another drive to New York, go to one of the Buckys on I 95. We’re eight is a novelty. It is very crowded witch makes it even more mesmerizing.
It's hard to focus on one thing for long. There's amazing food everywhere, for a traveler. I'll cross 8 lanes of traffic to get to a Buc-cee's restroom. I usually get a bag of salt water taffy, the assorted carnival(?) is best and a large Slushie. But when the Icee machines are down? A big ass soda. They have some exclusive Mtn Dew flavors there. The brisket sandwich is an okay deal. Always good and under $10. My fav. jerky is the Hill Country.
I always buy a seasonal tie-dye Buc-cee's shirt. They changed them out quarterly.
Oh, and their breakfast croissant is massive compared to BK.
There's just so much of a selection at Buc-ee's, and their restrooms are impeccable!

LMAO! I'm a native for multiple decades. Mid-October is about right, but I usually think more towards Halloween. I've grown to hate September. It's not technically the hottest month, but by September I'm just done with it. "Summer" is over with school back in session, football starting, and such. It should be "Fall" right? Wrong!

Lived in Texas for a long time. In Arizona now but I miss Buc-ees. That fudge and the brisket sandwich with BBQ sauce 🤤🤤
I'm from Houston, TX & sometimes I'll drive to the nearest Bucee's to get their homemade fudge! The have so many things that a traveler wants/ needs or doesn't need, lol! Glad you enjoyed your visit😊

You sped past the vast selections of spices and rubs and an array of different salsas. Smoking meat here in Texas is as much an art as it is a competition. I'm sure they had a large selection of pellets for smoking, too.
I think this is the same Buc-ee's that Josh and Olly of Jolly and Korean Englishman went to on their trip through America. i think they went from Texas to California in that trip. I know Shaun went to this one and the one near Atlanta.

ActionKid what are you doing in Texas! I just came back from the Dallas-Fort Worth area. On my last day in Texas I went to Buc-ees in Dallas. Btw Katy is great area in Houston area. Lots of RUclipsrs live in Katy☺️
Make sure you try some tex mex when you are in TX.. also If you are in Houston, i highly recommend trying the food at Agas in sugarland of you like Indian/Pakistani food
I've been to a few Buc-ee's locations, and honestly I don't get the appeal. A third of the store is snack foods, but I don't need four complete aisles of trail mix. There are some fresh foods like brisket, but few healthy options. The final third is a bunch of crappy housewares with pithy sayings like "Eat Pray Love." The only positive, and this is a big one for families with small children, is that the restrooms are huge and immaculately clean.
And you should have grabbed a BBQ sandwich to eat while driving through the car wash....lol

I tried beef jerky one time it taste horrid, i was living in germany at the time. I dont get why people eat it
The only complaint i have about buccees is that their coffee sucks
