Thank you soooo much the dealership didn't know anything about it. My husband took off in mine at 2500 rpms and bout killed us all!! Thank you! Perfect video!
Lol glad you found my video useful. That's my primary goal here on RUclips. Thanks for the support!
Part 1 and 2 were the best explainations I found after 30 mins of searching. So many videos that don’t visually demonstrate or fully explain: some dont even launch successfully. This video is very helpful and gives me the confidence to try again with out fear of just burning out.
I appreciate you. Make sure you're subscribed and have that bell 🔔 clicked with all post notifications turned on. I'll be doing a part 2 Hellcat edition to this video since I now have a Daytona Hellcat! Thanks for the support!
Thx for that very detailed explanation brother
*I appreciate 🙏 your support! Make sure you're subscribed!*
I don't own a 392 charger I still have the 6.1 but I thumbs up this video for perfect explanation without doing a long video 💯💯💯💯
Lol thanks a lot man. I appreciate that acknowledgment!
you explained it very clear!
GOOD EXPLANATION... There really is no quick footwork required guys~ the Key is to have your foot ON THE BRAKE ~BEFORE~ you tap the LC button. Hit the button and 'calmly' FLOOR the gas. it Hunkers down at SET RPM....and it's ready to Go ! Lift Foot OFF Brake pedal ► and hold on. !! Simple, as MDG did in this video.
Hahaha thanks bud!
I’m so late watching this video but but finally an actual simple explanation of how it’s done
Lol that was my goal in this video. To break it down in simple terms! Thanks for watching! Never too late.
Thx MDG! Easier to understand by watching you as opposed to reading the book or manual 👍
Lol I appreciate your support! Thanks for watching !
Good video bro i gotta definitely retry this again lol last time was a fail but now i got my game up thanks to MDG!! 💪 lets see how this goes this time
Yeah man I made this video to really help you out. It takes some practice but if you do it enough it becomes really easy. Then make a video on a part 2. My part 3 will be coming soon. But this time in Track mode.
It’s super easy doing it. I thought it was the coolest thing ever when I learned it. I was like “Ohh shit. It’s like a Transbrake almost”. I put my left foot all the way down on the brake too. I can’t wait to install my Stainless Works Catless mids and a tire on my Scat to see if I can beat my current best of a 4.2 0-60 with the launch control. I know once it cools down here in Texas after the summer, I will beat that number for sure. Launch control DOES work in these boats though. Keep the vids coming, MDG.
Damn bud that's a great 0-60 with LC! Stay tuned for my times coming soon.
Thanks for the info man! Just picked up a brand new daytona 392. Gotta break her in first but now ill feel confident when she's ready to launch
Good man! Enjoy it! That Daytona 392 is no joke. I did 3 years of videos on that car 🚗 and you can learn a lot from the my videos. Make sure you're subscribed and have that bell clicked.
Thank man! I’ve had my RT for almost 2 years and never tried this. Something to look forward to next weekend.
Definitely a fun feature to try. Once you do it once and it works you will love it.
I have a 2015 dodge charger rt & haven't tried launcher control since I got the vehicle. I didn't know how to use it honestly but helpful video I will try it like u say. Because I see other videos where they dont do it like u say they just follow the instructions & the launch isn't as good as yours I'll do a follow up when I try it
Keep me posted
thanks man, i was trying the launch but i wasin't doing it right, i was not flooring it quickly enough. thanks for sharing and keep up the good work
Thanks for watching this old flick of mine! I appreciate the support!
Best explanation I've seen for this. I was thinking full throttle would push the rpms past 1500, but I guess it makes it just holds the rpms there (duh). Releasing the break is what launches it (duh again) right?
Bingo! You got it down packed now! Thanks for the support and consider subscribing if you haven't already. I'd appreciate it.
Those 555's caught crazy grip on that launch
Man wait until you see my 0-60's with these! You'll be shocked!
What are 555’s? Thx
Great info brother! This video is going to help people with launching their car because it can be picky at times!
Thanks man yea I tried to break it down as clear as I could.
MDG Collections You did a great job bro!
Thank you for the info Mike, looking forward to trying it. Love your channel bro
Thank you brother for the support! I appreciate it! If you do the hold down both feet for a like 2 seconds before you release the brake it works like a charm!
EXCELLENT instructions!
I appreciate you! Make sure you're subscribed!
Good u stated 2 hold brake until u feel comfortable to release. It's a learning curve..
Yep its a perfect tool to use to get it down packed. After you do this it becomes easy. Thanks for watching man.
Whenever I need help with my car I know I can always slide to your channel mike! Good video
Gotta find a nice road out here to try this out
LOL thanks man! Yea I try and be that video manual for our 392's! If you ever find that open road make a video. I'd like to see it!
Thank you my boy! Perfect video well done
Thanks for watching!
Preciate it bro I got a 2020 Daytona 392 helped me out a lot time to gap some people!! Cheers 🥂
Anytime. Thanks for watching and make sure you hit that subscribe button as I still give information on 392s even though I have a 2020 Hellcat now.
very clear video, ill try it sometime
Lol thanks a lot! And keep me posted on how it works for you.
where did you get your steering wheel "Daytona 392" badge? dope video man really taught me how to use this feature.
*From some guy that turned out to be a flake! Not sure where he is now! Thanks for the support!*
Looking forward to trying it. Thanks for the info.
Yea man do that and let me know how it goes!
Awesome video thanx !! I've been trying here and there couldn't do it but will try ur method on both my 392,and Hellcat ty Mopuppy out
Lol awesome. That sounds like some real fun and serious action you have coming up with the 392 and Hellcat launch control's! Man enjoy that and i hope u get it down packed. It just takes a little practice and it works like a charm.
Well Done 👍🏽
Thanks a lot!
Good informational video, thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
Anytime. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for that bro !! I'm trying it for sure !!
Anytime. Let me know how it works for you.
MDG Collections bro question , I'll be racing today but just wanted to ask what would be my best set up on my car ?
The sixth LC video I watched. I wish I watched this one first. Do you have a line lock vid?
Yep I sure do!
ruclips.net/video/I7-7Gg08bRA/видео.html
Nicely done ✅ awesome thanks for the info 👍👍👍👍
Thanks ma! That's my job! To provide you guys with that 392 info! lol
And we all thank you for the info and the greatest videos that you put out for us as always you come through 👍👍
Great man thanks
Ima try it out soon
Let me know how it goes!
Great vid. Thanks bro.
Thanks a lot. Anytime.
Mike u don't put car with tazer and track mode and then launch it ?
Have u tried that ? Or u fund it more beneficial to just put it into sport mode and launch it that way ?
Track mode will be In "Launch Control" Part 3 but yes I've found from a dig to launch Sport mode works best BUT Track mode would do better if you keep traction control partially off like it's off in Sport mode.
thank you for the video. what settings do you have your suspension on? Street , sport, or track ? How bout all the other settings?
*Street if I'm not mistaken! Make sure you're subscribed!*
Love the channel 👍
Thanks a lot!
Good Info
Thanks bud.
That fun man
Where you get your Daytona/392 sticker thing
Amazon
Good info
Thanks new RUclips Star! LOL!
I believe u owned a hellcat as well , did launch control work great on that car or did you get wheel spin ?
Did you have to change tires to make launch control work on hellcat ?
*I have yet to use launch control on my current Hellcat. Stay tuned for that*
@@MDG_Collections from a dig , is the hellcat faster than a scat ?
Wait... Do I need to hold both feet down?
Yes! Then release brake ONLY after a few seconds
Once you do this, and you’ve launched, does it revert back to “regular” driving mode? So you have to set this up each time you want to launch correct? Thx
Yes it reverts back to regular driving mode. and yes you have to set this up each time to launch. make sure you're subscribed.
@@MDG_Collections Hey, Thanks for getting back to me. My dad just past away recently and had a mint 2018 Dodge Daytona 392 in yellow jacket sitting in the garage, only 39,000 miles on it. So I’m now just learning about these cars. It should be fun! Just subbed too. Thx
@@tundrawhisperer4821 *my condolences! Thanks for the support!*
I have Nitto 315/35/r20s on the back... wat rpm do u recommend for those? I pretty much gave up on launch control because it's been such a frustrating thing for me they pretty much just taken off regular I have better results then with the launch control because I just can't get it right on that sweet spot and the you know .... it like dogs out instead of "launching"
The highest RPM's possible using drags...they are sticky enough to propel you off the line without spinning!
@@MDG_Collections thanks bro
I'm going live in less than 30 mins at 8pm EST NYC. Don't miss it!
Can you explain how to do it with a stick? I don’t even be trying all those buttons in the car I just drive.
I can also drive a manual even though I haven't owned one for year's but if I come across someone with a manual willing to allow me to launch their car I'll do a video on it!
MDG Collections when u want to do it ? We do a epic video I’m free anytime
I'll keep you posted.
Ok kool anytime just let me know
Great video! Have you tried launching in track mode?
I have. That will be in Part 3
MDG Collections I haven't tried in sport mode yet, too hot today to try lol.
Looking forward to that next vid👍
It’s such a odd feeling on holding both pedals all the way down. Like #59
You are right about that but that oddness works like a charm in this situation.
You did 0-60 in 4.3 sec not bad
Yeah man I finally did it and feel like I can get that 4.0-4.1 come spring. Thanks for watching!
mr. 0-60 man we need to gtg. I need to get better 0-60 times. 5.1 is my best
My 0-60 series starts Tues. Watch what happens with these new tires i have.
My cousins says 3300 why's that
Say that again?
The rpm
ortiz 3300 only if you're at a track that's prepped!
@@MDG_Collections true.we Finna test it out 😈thx for the tutorial👍
Thanks for watching! Keep me posted on if my video tutorial helped.
SRT Daytona lol
I just got a 2019 gt charger with launch. Do these instructions work with gt models?
*That GT would need launch control!*
@@MDG_Collections My screen says "activate launch control" and it shows rpm dial. Lowest rpm 1800, highest is 2300.
*Yep you got it*
@@MDG_Collections i gotta try it out! Thanks for the info and help!
Solid video. Launch control is fun to play with. I've watched a lot of videos with people trying launch control and they usually let off the brake right when applying full throttle. I'm guessing because they only use 1 foot.
Exactly. Maybe that is what they are doing? Or if they are using two feet they are letting off way too fast.
MDG Collections I think they assume you let off immediately. Maybe if the evic screen were to also have "keep holding brake after you apply full throttle", there wouldn't be so much confusion.
Bingo! I agree!
So brake then gas
@@jeromeblake9974 hold brake, then hold gas, wait 2-3 seconds, then release brake
Thanks.
Anytime!
GT has launch control too💪🏿💪💯
