Having now watched A Small Light now, I found it incredibly moving, and I sobbed because of the heartbreaking reality that ppl then faced. I've recently learned that my paternal grandmother's ancestry is German. I am looking forward to learning more, and pray that my ancestry wasn't nazi sympathizing.
Always remember you are not your ancestors and can’t carry guilt from a generation that you weren’t in! You can create change and be the light in the world, not carry weight that isn’t yours!❤️
Liev is doing a remarkable job of bringing Otto Frank to life. Miep and Jan are perfectly cast.

I just finished it, was amazing. National geographic keep dropping these AMAZING ADAPTATIONS... LOVED THE EINSTEIN one too...
This series moved me, last 2 episodes I cried, both happy and sad tears. It was done so well, gripping, but still light hearted while not shying away from the reality of what happened. This deserves awards!

Every interviewer asks the exact same questions, they must get so tired of this. lol One of my favorite shows, would love to hear more from the cast but these reporters are so basic!! (also, really, a phone?)
so taken with this take on the Anne Frank story. The final moments and the emotional ' I'll be seeing you' music really resonated with me. Thank you to all involved.

Confusing dynamic during this interview. The interviewer and the two men are sitting but the lady is standing.

This setting with CHECKPOINTS kind of reminds me of the VAX PASS tyranny we faced during covid. Sadly, many "heroic helpers" didn't survive to write their biographies like MIEP did. RIP Dr.Rashid Buttar an immunologist who spoke against the VACCINE TYRANNY during COVID and was sadly poisoned for it. Heroes are rare indeed!
@Elke Summer I saw your comments about what you call “vax tyranny” on other RUclips videos for this amazing new show A Small Light. By continuing to attempt to compare, on multiple videos, the factual terrible tragedy of the holocaust to saying that the creation of Covid vaccines harmed (harmed being not factual, vaccines actually saved people) people, you are sadly a conspiracy theorist and opportunist.
I enjoyed the show but the tone was completely off, a Disney version of the nazis.
We must have watched two different shows.
