Loved H man.. The old man of the sea enjoying his well-earned retirement..anyone remember when he calmly just surfed into the rocks because the rip was so bad to get the patient in safely ?..Great rescue..superb lifeguard he could read the sea so well..miss ya mate..🇬🇧💕✝️🙏👍👏🏄♀️🇦🇺
I’m now 62 and from the Northeast of England. I went from junior lifeguard to adult lifeguard at Sandhaven Beach where the currents were sometimes horrendous. The majority of people getting into difficulties in the water were mainly holiday makers and people who had little experience of the sea.
You know a mystery shoppers is good, but nobody wants to deal with them and they stick H. on them. That’s like saying “I wanna be a cop” & trying to direct traffic in a busy intersection. 🤦♀️ 😂
I get his frustration completely! A five year old , yeah. I would understand that but grown ups? Taking resources away from others who might seriously need them and Not listening to the lifeguards ( who are the ones who have the most knowledge about the beaches and currents!) is just plain idiocy at its best! And H is a force to be reckoned with 🌊🤙🏼
I am on the side of the lifeguards, too many of the people they rescue from drowning think the whole thing is a JOKE! Once rescued the people involved should be given a warning that if they go back into the area they have been told to stay away from them the police will be called and they will be BANNED FRIM TGE BEACH FOR 7 DAYS Di you agree?

Allowing people to repeatedly put themselves in danger by ignoring the flags is not the actions if a good employee! Police are soon called to those ignoring the no alcohol rule or stealing property so why do those ignoring the flags escape sanctions? What if a lifeguard suffered serious injury due to a repeat offender? What would happen to the council who employ the lifeguards?

Things can escalate extremely quickly at Bondi and the lifeguards know how bad things can become if swimmers don't listen to them... 😰
