@@ProjectManagementVideos Loving the videos so far. Not to take anything a away from them but is there a way to 'edit' maybe by putting a small comment in the video at 13:15 ? It threw me off a bit also. I'm glad Kerubina mentioned it in the comments, I thought I was missing something. Just a suggestion of course.
I love your videos, I was lost during reading the book but now fell better, could you please provide us the power point notes you used in your videos? thank you so much
Hi, can you explain to me What areas of the PMBoK are affected by the Project Management Life Cycle the most and how do we ensure alignment between the lifecycle of the project and the implementation of PMBoK in projects?”
I am not sure if I understood your question, but the project management lifecycle applies throughout the whole project lifecycle. You see, the project management lifecycle is what we do as PMs to deliver the project deliverables. The project deliverables are completed by going through the technical project phases, and these technical phases make up the project lifecycle. Hope this helps.
Thank you so much for your response and making it easy for me yo reach you. What i meant by my question was among all the 10 knowledge areas of PMBok which knowledge affects or are the most important when considering project management life cycle? And also how do I find out which knowledge areas of PMBok are being considered when we actually implement the project.
Thanks for great informative in this video.. in this video you explain very well the work performance information and work performance reports but you didn’t explain in your example the work performance data
Hi Fahad...the work performance data is the raw data you will collect from your project team or contractor such as when they tell u they are half way done with a specific task or activity or if they have started or finished it. It is the update u get from the team on what they have completed so far. You use this data to form your information on how the project is doing (work performance information) which you will put into a work performance report hope this helps.
You are correct. I just went back and listened to it. I explained work performance data and then said this is the first bullet on the slide (which actually says work performance data) but I mistakingly referred to it as work performance information. Good attention to details. Thank you for noticing that.
They kind of overlap...Initiation process are usually done at the beginning of a project. Process groups are similar to project management phases, not the project technical phases. Good point you brought up!
This person should be mentioned in every PMP learning platform. Excellent way of teaching and making concepts clear. Thank you sir!

Project Management Videos in video at 13:20 minutes you said that is information, that confused me

I think you are mixing between process groups and project phases.
