Dump the Vglide and replace it with an H bridge. Much more relyable. You will need a potentiomiter on your pedel but that would be a relativly easy adaptation with a 3d print. Great job on the video! Liked it alot!
H bridge sounds like a good idea. I will look into it. For my next run, I am putting in a new Vglid, but I am going to run the top speed through a solenoid. The motor draws over 6,000 watts when I climb the hills.

When I get the Lithium batteries put in, I think it will go 20 miles.
Look for golf carts with bad batteries, they are cheaper. I will show you how to install lithium batteries for less $ then lead acid.
Did you use an ai to do to hate your voice. I think it would have been a lot better if you just used your own voice instead of an ai
